First thing I did before developing my gardens was to first consider the wildlife. 6 years later there are tons of animals here that I didn't see any of when I moved in.

I can definitely co-sign on the granite rock dust- I have it in my own yard because my whole area is / \ / \ up hill or down hill and I am on a "down hill" where water just gullywashes right down my driveway creating a flowing river in my whole yard. We solved this by packing granite dust at the end of the driveway, followed by a layer of gravel/pea pebbles. It's about 10 ft by 10 ft and about 1/2 ft deep- it has completely stopped the water from flooding my yard. It truly is incredible. way better solution and in my opinion cost effective!

What I want to know is as soon as you plant do you keep a list on how many you planted and when is the next time they need to be watered or you just look at your plants see if they need more help or water.

And Not a single weed! I’d love to know his principles on that. If I built this I would have 4 acres of weeds!

There are a lot of ways to work vertically too. Hopefully your garden is now on its way to being established 🌱
