Having Victor kill Luke was extremely sad (i was in tears during this episode, and very, very angry) but it really elevated Victor as being the ultimate Cassadine threat seeing as he had succeeded at something all the other Cassadines had tried and failed to do so many times. It's just a shame they didn't keep that trajectory with Victor and this story really just fizzled out in the end.

I stopped watching GH when Luke & Laura broke up and Luke left Port Charles. Now to have "kill" Luke off the show is an all time low for GH! Never ever watch it again not even parts of it that is how low GH has become.

They had to really let the character go. I do wish he would have come back and professed his undying love for Laura and then died from a poison or something. TG was adamant about never returning. Time to close the book on Luke.

@@sandyRndisco1 nah Laura is still there and she is amazing. I don't blame Tony Geary for retiring, he gave us so many years of entertainment. Luke Spencer could never be recast; it was time to let him go.

@@lisacarman167 I agree nobody could take Luke's place on GH and I always like the originals better myself. I was looking Tony Geary is 76-years-old! So hard to believe he is that old when you look at these old scenes which I have several times. But to me it will always be Luke and Laura. Not Laura with someone else. Just wish they could have kept them together through the end after all they went through so much together. As for me it will always be Luke & Laura. Not Laura and somebody else. They made one unique dynamatic couple!

I'm afraid JZ fell victim to the age-defying allure of plastic surgery. Unfortunately, whatever procedure she had was not done well. It's sad to see how it ended up.😭
