Can’t blame Jake, he’s had his father come and go from his life for a long time. He’s a teen, his emotions are running and he’s upset. It’s very normal and glad he’s vocal and not hiding and pretending as his anger towards his father grows into hatred, he at least is getting it off his chest.

Jake's anger is justified, but he just needs time to see how much jason really loves him. Jason for most part has been an absentee father. Even when he was alive and around, he didnt spend much time with Jake. Even Danny had the same problem with Jason during 2021. Sam had to tell Jason about the fact that he was always missing stuff with Danny, which is partially why she kicked Jason out in 2021. Bottom line is Jason NEEDS to be a more present father in his kids lives. And i loved the scenes between Liz and Jason. They still got that amazing chemistry!! They need to fix the close friendship they had. They've always been close and have always had a strong bond with each other.

@@Nataku007 actually, liz didn't want jason to stay away from jake when he came back in 2017. She had no problem with jason being a father to jake. In fact she actually encouraged Jake to get to know jason as his father as soon as jason came back in 2017. Liz's days of wanting jason to stay away from Jake bc of the danger ended pretty much after Jake "died". But when Jake and jason came back from the "dead" she had no problems with jason. It was actually Sam who switched it up and started singing lizs tune with the whole stay away bc of danger. Liz hasn't had a problem with is since then.

Rebecca Herbst is incredibly youthful and beautiful and she and Steve Burton have amazing chemistry… I hope the writers given Jason a strong storyline with both his sons rather than being Carly’s or Sonny’s protector. Sick of Carly’s non stop over the top “I want Jason for myself” and Sam’s shrew like attitude towards Jason.

GH really screwed up on the timelines of both Jake and Josslyn births. If my memory serves me correct, wasn't Jake born before Joss? So why is it he is still a teenager in high school, and Josslyn is a sophmore or junior in college ? Something I always thought about, but on another note Rebecca Herbst is gorgeous and sexy as hell. She has always been so naturally beautiful to me. And to think she is near the precipus of 50.

Valentine is up to no good and whatever he is doing ties to Jason big time. But I can see the writers are trying to allow Jason to be around his son's and get to know them unlike the old writers. Yes but that was back then. Lucky never legally adopted Jake. He was just raising Jake til Jake "died" in 2012. Then in 2015 Jake came back, and then jason came back in 2017, and since jason came back in 2017, liz has encouraged Jake to get to know jason and accept jason as his father.

This kids feelings are valid I’m proud of him for expressing them Danny was pissed off to he walked into the boat house looked at his dad and turned around to walk out he was mad remember that and then realized his dad was shot and needed help get a grip haters these boys been after thoughts they’re whole lives they get to express that if your kids dead beat father pulled this shit on them you’d be out for blood and this is not an Elizabeth or Sam thing I don’t care if he stays single or dates the barmaid at Jakes it’s time to step up and be a father to his boys take them fishing and camping talk to them listen to them for me he won’t be a hero again until he dose that I’m a single mom of 3 daughters and I just can’t respect this character until I see him step up and be a dad in 99-2000&2001 the long talks he had with Lizabeth the boys could use some of that or maybe that was just because he wanted to sleep with her I would love to see dialogue between Jason Jake and Danny real dialogue getting to know one and other as family

This kid is a talented young actor. He's better than the other teens and held his own in scene with Steve/Becky. I remember when Husdon West earned a Daytime Emmy nomination when he was eight years old.
