I agree. When I saw the previews that Trina was gonna talk to Curtis and I was like 🙄. You just never know how those convos are gonna go…. plus we are all traumatized by Portia. But I was pleasantly surprised by the convo and they gave her great advice. I’m glad she got advice from older men. I also appreciate how the writers are hopefully distancing Portia from Sprina.

I too was a bit apprehensive when I saw that Trina would be talking to Curtis. However, I was pleasantly surprised and liked everything they had to say. Sometimes you need a males perspective on situations such as this. And thank God, Porta Potty wasn't their to sh*t all over everything. Trust me Trina, you don't want any sort of advice from someone whose been fraternizing with the enemy. This crap with her mother needs to come out already. 🙄

Ok, so I’ve relaxed a bit lol. I really liked getting Trina’s POV today. Marshall and Curtis were fantastic as a soundboard for her. I also appreciate that Trina mentioned that before Spencer, her career and education were her first priority. I love that no matter what, Trina is focused on building a good life for herself. I wish Spencer’s conversation felt more aligned with Trina’s goals. They clearly are at two very different places within the relationship. Can they come together or will they fracture? No clue. But I do know that I’m maxed out on Trina making sacrifices for the ppl she loves. I don’t know if I’ve seen a character take more hits without many wins and that doesn’t feel good to watch. For many reasons, I’m not worried about The Cam part of the story. The biggest one being Context. Marshall used this to let Trina know that love happens more than once for most ppl and her having feelings for Spencer after having feelings for Cam is a testament to that. Also, Cam hasn’t been a full time part of the show since before the summer and as far as we know William Lipton will only be back for the holidays. Trina can’t exactly reignite romantic feelings for a character who lives across the country. And finally, props to Tabyana for just making Trina a character i root for. No matter what, I hope the show continues to give her work worthy of her talents.

Cam is either an anvil or a red herring. He'll likely play a role in protection for her or he's simply to distract/unnerve #Sprina. But this goes back to a viewer having to trust/rely on the characters when the writers are making them say things for writers intent to control or manipulate the viewer.

@@creating1_c1999 That’s true. I don’t trust what’s in front of me with this show half the time. Whether it’s good or bad and thats a terrible place for the audience to end up. But thats how they are telling these stories. Good point on Cam maybe being used as a tool for wherever the story is going. I just don’t think her bringing him up was the show telling us there was a chance he and Trina get together.

The fact that Cameron has been coming up lately is no coincidence. I thinly he’s coming back. That will give the boring joss/dex relationship a spice and a jolt to the Spencer/Trina storyline without the witch Esme.

I don’t think the cam mention means much. Cam may return for the holidays but I doubt Cameron will ever be more than a friend to Trina. Trina and cam did try to date but remained as friends instead. No Rory mention here high was kind of funny because he was her boyfriend before spencer. 😂😂. The gh writers need to find more interesting storylines for spencer and Trina outside of ace and esme.

Beautiful scenes today, but it is laundry. Cam will be available as a friend. It's just to foreshadow that he's on his way home, for the holidays, perhaps. The Scooby Gang will back together, at least for a few weeks.

Clearly Trina's main issue is Esme. The fact that Spencer spends all or most of his time with Ace it automatically means that Esme will be around too, and that's why she's so mad and frustrated. The fact Esme is living with him , is his ex girlfriend , and doing parenting classes with Spencer it's just too much for Trina to deal with. She doesn't know that it was her own mother who arranged for them to take the classes , but I hope that Trina runs into Laura they talk and then Laura mentions that Esme told her that it was her mother who arranged the parenting classes this past summer. Then I want Trina to go off on Portia for trying to use Ace and the parenting classes to try to break she and Spencer up. What could be better is if Laura confronts Portia about the classes she set up for Spencer and Esme and let her know that she realizes what she's trying to do (breakup Spencer and Trina or keep them apart). What would have been great is if Spencer was there and he saw for himself how Trina really feels , and know exactly what she's really mad about. Then he would realize that their fight had nothing to do with Ace and everything to do with Esme. She's clearly insecure when it comes to Esme especially now that she has amnesia so I don't if in the back of Trina's mind she feels Spencer would go back to Esme ( because she's a different person) and dump her.

I wouldn’t say that Spencer is Trina’s first priority BUT I will say that I believe that Trina considers everything that Spencer goes through, his feelings and what he thinks way more than Spencer does with her… I love them together but I hate the storyline… that being said I think this conversation was a BIG eye opener and really healthy for Trina

The White Caucus spoke and they axed it, killed Dev off only to stick him with Joss to be cheated on. GH we not having it with Sprina at all. The White Caucus is trying it again and trying to pin Spencer with his abuser. It's time Trina gets a love story. Her and Joss been rocking since JHS. Joss has had Oscar, Dev, Cameron and now Dex GH really needs to stop this madness. Let Trina be already trust and believe the racist will be read for filth on social media each time they try it so GH needs to run the story of Sprina and ignore the haters because they are the minority.

Cam mention total bs. Trina was not Cam's choice period. She deserves to be someone's first choice. Not consolation prize. Trina liked Cam but it was pretty obvious that Cam was not into her and it's good that they were not together. I want to see Trina at school in her life , making friends, maybe event discovering and promoting an artist from her school. I don't want her life to be only focused on Spencer and his never endings problems and apologies cycle. I want Spencer to maybe take a class at the university. even if its an audit to at least see what people his age do. Or get a job, do something worth effort beyond or if not have a scene where he calls Ace his son to open the door to him getting therapy for all the obvious issues that he is projecting onto Ace.

I’m glad she wasn’t there, but why have we not had any scenes with Trina/Portia? She left her a message when she got to NYC, but didn’t talk to her before she left and there have been no scenes between them since she got back. Curtis told Portia about the trip and the only acknowledgment she’s had since Trina got back was pics that Curtis showed her. Didn’t Trina not share them with her? Are they dropping the Portia interfering with Sprina or is it just on hold?

I thought the talk about Cameron was kind of weird. Yeah maybe she liked Cam, but it wasn’t so much Oscar, but the intense situations they kept being thrown into together. Being kidnapped and held by Cyrus. Then when they decided to take it a step further and kissed, they realized that they were only friends. I agree that it’s weird Rory wasn’t brought up. She told Joss that she didn’t love him, but nobody else knows that during that time Spencer was still on her mind. Showing that her feelings for Spencer run deeper than those fir anyone else she’s been with. I like Sprina, but even I can admit that they are first loves, which rarely make it, especially in soaps.

He would just be married to E and stalking Trina. He still has no rights. Marrying someone with a child doesn't grant you legal claim to them. In order to adopt a child, both parents rights must be legally terminated. Nik will never sign away his rights to Ace. But what it might trigger is a DNA test that would determine that Ace is not a Cassadine at all.
