Agreed. I feel that Spencer is burdened with carrying everyone else's emotional baggage, but he's not allowed to have any of his own without people trying to minimize it because he's "privileged" at least financially.

Laura has forgotten that a lot of this started by Nicholas... his actions are unforgivable. Is Spencer wrong for his feelings or wanting to protect his future sibling? No..... is the way he's going about it right? No..... Spencer still wants his father's love..... he's lonely.... and he wants to spare another child disappointment and inconsistency.

I agree and disagree. I agree with the first part. Nicholas did many unforgivable things. He hurt people he loved especially his son. And it’s such a contrast actually that hurts because the bond they had when he was a child was beautiful. I remember the fire scene and the raw pain and love I seen Nicholas have towards spencer was beautiful. But anyways Nicholas isn’t doing right by anyone. But I disagree with the part that spencer isn’t doing it the right way. I mean he’s thought about this. He even went and seeked legal advice. He may have insinuated blackmail but in all reality he gave his father a chance to choose for himself. And let’s be real he always knew there was a chance that recording would come out. He wouldn’t of videotaped it if he cared. Nicholas for me is a very hard character for me to like. Much like Nina and much like Jason. Some characters I believe can be recast and they do amazing jobs. But for some I feel like there’s a disconnect in my head like for Nicholas. The original nik was beautiful and his scenes were raw and I felt it in my heart. But these new characters it’s like there’s a disconnect
