I love that desk sergeant that Luke keeps talking to, lol!

I'm sure a lot of this went over my head as a kid, including the Quartermaines starting off their evening with a bar stocked just for them. They sure lived the rich life. I also remember resenting Holly for taking Laura's place for a time.

Why doesn’t Luke just call Bobbie.

Tony Geary seems different starting around fall of '81, leading at least up to this stage in his appearance.. Like he really could bite into the role in the beginning, (79-80, early to mid '81) but almost like the huge fame, (including women in crowds yelling, "Luke, rape me.." ugh...) personal drinking and stress of continuing on with a role that has been a bit cliched by now is making him more jaded or something. His eyes seem tired or bored, compared to the earlier acting.

I noticed this also. He looked visibly stressed and (I dare say) haggard in the face. Even when Laura returned, he still didn’t look well.

@@musiclover2.06 yes, haggard is accurate:(. Like you say, even when she returned, he looked puffy in his face, and tired, and he had put on some weight - which most people can relate to that:((. But in later years I think he regained some equilibrium, and got back his identity, for lack of a better way of putting it..

Was more than drinking... he had a cocaine addiction which he admitted to... like alcohol, it changes the brain. I am happy he survived it. Genie beat it too and has spoken about it as well ( so no speculation here, they were hard drug addicts and must have been in a great deal of pain with the ups and downs).

Aren’t the Quartermaines just the sweetest folks? Make sure Celia marries Grant even if she loves Jimmy Lee?

Didn't he turn out to be a foreign spy? Can't believe I remember that stuff.
