GH 6/30/2023 | Spencer discusses his past with Esme 2/3

Whether Spencer is playing Esme or Esme is playing Spencer is irrelevant to me right now. My concern is the fact that in just this one episode alone, they were allotted more alone time then Sprina have gotten since they got back from Greenland. They were giving more substance writing than Sprina since they returned home. Magically Spencer and Esme had no interruptions. No baby crying. No phone calls. The scene was not blink and you miss it or choppy. Hell, have we ever got a scene of Trina in Spencer’s bedroom? Yet here is Esme in his bedroom. “Bonding.” And whether it’s fake bonding or not, it doesn’t matter. The problem is why did more writing go into a fake moment between Spencer and Esme , than we’ve seen with Spencer and the girl he’s suppose to love. This is my current problem with Sprina’s writing. Trina simply having the title of “Spencer’s girlfriend” is not enough. A little kiss here and there is not enough. A cutesy moment once a week is not enough. They need WRITING!!!!! They need romance. They need alone time. They need substance. They need passion. They need intimacy. They need to be shown bonding etc. All we get is angst and not enough of other stuff to balance it out. And it’s not even good or organic angst. It’s mostly manufactured stuff which hurts their credibility more than make them stronger.

Ever since she saw Spencer without his shirt, she just won't leave his room. Where is Ace? So, now she can put him to bed without Spencer. How would she know their alike if she has no memory of it. This is the highest grade of BS, but I'm not gonna jump to conclusion I'm just gonna let it play out. Why did Spencer feel the need to tell her she was his first love. He just gave Esme all the ammunition to break up his relationship.

The GH writers aren’t fooling anyone. These scenes with Spencer and Esme are disrespectful. They were on today for a total of 9 1/2 mins without any interruptions. Where was Ace? Every time Spencer and Trina are together they are interrupted.

I don't think they are breaking up Sprina I think they will eventually have a conversation and admit they love each other. My problem is it took 2 years of angst and build up and it's looking like their end game relationship won't be nearly as long , at least with NAC and Taby . They are the reason I started watching GH.

@@luciennestegner9970 I have a theory of Spencer's exit. Spencer lures her in just enough to have her think they have a future. She tries to make a move on him and he rebuffs her advances. He acknowledges that she's changed, but that his heart lies with Trina. Esme pretends to not be hurt by this, and without any warning she leaves town with Ace. But before Spencer as any idea of this, he goes to find Trina to explain his harsh behavior( for however many weeks) and that he had to protect her. He then tells her he loved her(I would like to say the other act, but I'll refrain) At some point Spencer returns back to the penthouse to find there is no sign of Esme or the baby. Spencer takes off after her. Something tells me he probably won't leave a note, although I hope he does. 💯

I came out of a 13 year retirement from watching GH for this coupling Trina and Spencer. I thought it was cute, love in the afternoon. After my fav coupling scrubs had so many ups and downs. I thought oow a new journey this time an interracial couple perfect. But this mess no. I shall go back into retirement cause this ain’t it.

The last thing I want to see is Trina in a triangle with the woman who drugged her and had her falsely accused of a crime she wiggled out of because of her amnesia. The last thing I want to see is Spencer feigning after the same woman who bedded his father. So if they want Esme and Spencer together, leave Trina out of it. Either find Trina someone else or bring Cam back.

Nac is slowly backing out of the spencer situation with a new project he must see gh did a 180 with sprina all this build up for nothing. Why even have them talk to people magazine when Trina isn’t even the one he ends up with. This whole storyline is stupid and I don’t believe it’s from the writers strike because 2 days I seen it said written by Chris and Dan O’Connor so these are the same writers just using the strike to bullshit fans but they won’t be doing that to me.

I think that if the powers that be didn't want Spencer and Trina to be a soap opera power couple that they could have been easily broken them up when Tabyana was cast as Trina but that hasn't happened and that's exactly what when Tyler returned to GH the powers that be decided to break up Nikolas and Gia. Instead I think that Spencer and Trina have fallen in love and yes, they are going through a hard time but, I think that they will eventually have the happiness that they deserve.
