Oh so sorry but very true. I just can't stand GH today that is way it hurts so much to admit saying that I don't watch GH anymore. Its just so much harder to focus on. The canvas is just to dark and cold no true love of family, friendships or even fun! The show ...GH has lost its wonderous magic. All of the great characters have left there mark on my heart. GH heart has stoped beating it died a very sad and lonely death...JMVHO! Peace out Rosie!

I love these old episodes when I was a child then brings back a lot of memories in those days yrs ago the drama takes place inside of the hospital and especially out of the hospital and Laura looks cute and beautiful in those days.

Thanks for posting..I was in grade school but remember Amy showing up like it was yesterday. She came to the Q mansion with Laura and tried on all of Monica's dresses while she was recovering at the hospital from the fall down the stairs. At first Amy had a crush on Alan. The poor girl kept 2 secrets her entire life, both times to try and protect Alan..the paternity of Alan Jr and years later his drug addiction secret. Ironically both secrets probably ended up hurting him more than helping.

Is AJ really Ricks? There were some things I missed back in the 70's. I stopped watching after Laura left and never watched it again.

Christine Adams AJ is Alan’s although it took a long time for it to be revealed that it was not Ricks. For awhile Alan thought it was Ricks which is why he was planning to kill them

Looking back and watching this now, and at about 13:40 you see her eyes follow Luke out the room. Yeah, the sparks were starting. It's interesting to watch this in "slow motion", as compared to when watching it in real time.

Laura's whole demeanor changed when Scott showed up. It is cool to see it on the outside! There is no denying it, Luke and Laura both had feelings for each other way back then. I almost forget that Laura is married to Scott.

Exactly. She was already in love with Luke when the rape happened. She didn't fall in love with him afterward, she forgave him for losing control.

Looking back on these long ago scenes, I notice Anne and Jeff pretty much treated Joe like trash. I never could stand Jeff, but I loved Anne. Jeff and Anne acted as though Joe was just in the way. Joe was too good for both characters. Thanks for uploading though :)

The hair in the 70's to early 80's was possibly the best it ever was, ever? It was styled sooooo gorgeous. The waves, blonde hair wasn't drab, they had the most gorgeous natural looking tones in the hair and not those strange chunky highlights of today... whatever they were doing then was amazing. The clothing was sooooo stunning too. I try to emulate that style as best as I can without looking costumey.

I still love Tracy but these were my favorite Tracy days in 79 & 80. She still puts people in their place today but she has a softer side to her. Back in these days there was nothing soft about her. A force to be reckoned with for sure! Could put the best of them in their place!

Never liked Tracy she is nothing but a fake all she dose is yell at everyone. Always starts trouble and sticks her nose where it don’t belong.Almost try’s to kill her Father she stood there while her Father was having a stroke. Well even though her Father made it seem that way. Lets us just say it was not a stroke her Father Edward did that to see if she would help him if he ever did have one. Tracy did not or would not help him either way. She was also very greedy self centered and just a very big bully.Never liked Tracy never will JMHO honest never humble not where she is concerned! Tracy was always uncaring about anybody but herself or what she can get for herself or/ and her Daddy. Now Tracy always loved to impress Daddy dearest. Although I always liked Edward he is to funny at times. Yes Tracy did say to anybody the truth just as long it was not about herself. JMHO. Thanks. Rosie

Luke and Laura had chemistry here already and imo... Laura was getting all schoolgirly and blushy with Luke... definite crush going on. So this is why the rape not being entirely rape was ok for the public, I suppose. I think she was in love with him at the time of the rape, not that it made it any less rape from his side but still...

SO interesting to hear Tracy's voice at times during this period..... so much higher, almost falsetto relative to its tone in her later stints. I wonder if that was on purpose for the character and then Jane Eliot just gave up and let her voice be more natural when she returned in the early 90's.

Thomas Donohue: LOL. I thought Chris Robinson was the WORST actor on GH. Some were bad but not everyone was a bad actor in this episode, IMO.
