They are like war buddies, you don't go through something that harrowing and then come back and let something so stupid get in your way. It's ridiculously unrealistic. I mean Laura gave up her life to be with him and saved his life multiple times but because she has a traumatic reaction to reporters (which she apologized for) Luke is going to throw out everything they have? To use a phrase from 1980...Baloney!!!

I like the way the beard portrayed that he let himself go and didn't care about his appearance when he felt betrayed by and gave up on Laura. Shaving his beard was a sign that we were getting the old go-getter Luke back!

Amy MacLean Nurse's make good money and Bobbie didn't have her own place, she rented a room with Jessie or stayed with Ruby. Bobbie was able to really save her money. 😊💰 I heard Laura's cab fare mentioned recently, it was less than $4, I was amazed. Now, that's what it would cost to just step in a cab.

Luke never had chemistry with any other woman besides Laura. From 1999 to 2015 they tried pairing Luke up with Felicia Jones, Anna Devane, Tracy Quartermaine, Skye Chandler Quartermaine and it never worked. He and Tracy were more like a comedy team, Laurel and Hardy slapstick. Even in 1982 they tried pairing him with several women and it never clicked. Tony Geary only seemed to be able to connect romantically with Genie Francis.
