I watched it, I cried, and I loved it. Thanks, Sus. It was a great X-Mas gift and a reminder of the Tony Geary I used to adore. Genie was so sweet and loving. What a waste of talent to have these two separated. No other couple can ever compare to Luke and Laura.!!

It makes your heart swell up with how much love they portrayed in this scene!Why they had to desecrate them I will never figure it out!Their stories and adventures were as close to perfect as you can get!!!!

I'm a widow, lost my sweetheart of 44 years and our very last days were as full of love and romance as any of our first ones. Love can and does last FOREVER. My widows group is full of ladies who had marriages of 40, 50 and 60 years! And every one will tell you their love was still tender, passionate and full of romance as well as commitment and rock solid security their love would never die. Divorce is NOT inevitable, and it's almost impossible when there's such a powerful love. These writers obviously have absolutely no clue of the relationship possible in a lasting marriage. If I wasn't so angry and disgusted at them for what they did to this love story, I might feel sorry for them!

I love having these scenes bc it preserves the perfection of these characters- the synergy of writing, great actors and amazing acting, but I always get mad bc they messed it up so bad! Forgive me, but it must be said. These miserable hard hearted and blind excuses for writers took a historic story, with some of the best characters ever put on film and butchered it all. I'll never understand why- they wrote themselves out of a job! Unless it was jealousy, there's no reason. Which shows how truly clueless they were.

loved this video, Luke and Laura, so happy and together. The ptb really messed things up when they wouldn't bring Laura (Genie) back.Who said Luke didn't love his kids.He never looks at Tracey the way he looks at Laura ,with such love. I know it is only a show and they are actors but their portrayal of this couple is so believeable. Bring them back together. Tracey and Luke are boring.

You know I don't think it's the past... there are loves that last a life time... I actually know quite a few couples that were together for 50+ years... it's not out of the norm. I am not sure why Tony Geary and Genie Francis are on the 20/20 special having to defend the fact that it can't be the same. I don't want the same. I just want the evolution of this story, the love intertwined with the wisdom and maturity that comes with the years that have past. They past for most of us too!!

I think one segment will show Luke at Bobbie's funeral. Then he will look and see Laura They kiss They won't leave anymore.. Because of the sadness of Bobbie's death, they make these vows. They will grow old together And will support other younger peoples on the show They will be the ones people go thru
