GH Metallica: Disposable Heroes 100% Expert Plus Full Band FC

this is probably the most epic full band in guitar hero AND rockband to date!!!!!!!

i know a lot of people are gonna ask "how many tries did it take?" and to be honest, it took WAY more tries than it should have. we spent four solid days (not in a row) trying to get this. we are all fortunately very patient and good friends with each other, so we never really got too frustrated :)

+Ivan Caroselli because of the lisence. Rock Band has ride the lightning, amd justice for all and blackened because they bought the lisence first, so activision couldnt use the songs.

Do keep in mind that Metallica themselves hand picked the ENTIRE set-list for this game. They picked the songs they thought were their best and would be the most fun to play, in addition to songs that they had covered ones that inspired them, and ones that they just plain liked themselves.

And UNLIKE Van Halen, they actually did a damn good job at choosing songs. David Lee Roth and Wolfgang Van Halen's song choices were a very mixed bag to say the least.

I think they didn't do that because 1. Rob was still somewhat "New" only having worked on Death Magnetic back in '09 and adding in Jason might've seemed like they were undermining Rob 2. They might've thought it would be disrespectful to Cliff to model him into the game, Especially considering that would involve his model playing songs that were written after his death. 3. The stage animation is based off of Rob's stage presence. It might be a little silly to see Jason spinning around like Rob does, you know?

Zieekel Exactly. They asked Cliff's parents if it would be okay if they modeled him in the game, and they said no. Even if they did agree, it would've been nice to see him play the Kill em All, Lightning and Puppets songs in-game. Maybe as a cheat to unlock with the younger characters when you play Kill em All through Puppets.

you also have to take into consideration that this is also on expert + and that the drummer has to activate starpower way more often than in rockband, and that on those activations, he has to go out of his way to activate it, instead of hitting the green at the end of a drum fill like in rockband

@lotsofpie2222 the activations are way harder to do in this game then RB, wich in turn makes the song harder in geneneral. Hiting the notets, this and panick attack are = IMO, cuz PA has rolls, this has E+ but me having to randomly hit the yellow and orange in the middle of hard parts, instead of missing out on notes to get an activation fill, makes this harder.
