@@ironmainiac1783 I always wondered what Metallica would have sounded like if they also stole Tom Hunting from Exodus along with Kirk.

I recently saw a video where some dude plays bass along with that entire album in one sitting, whole thing every song back to back and nailed it flawlessly. I think it was called And Justice For All with Bass.

This was my favorite point in metallicas live performances. Lars still on fire, Kirk playing his solos with no filler, James voice still there, and Jason's brutal bass and vocals.

I was at that concert. They had been touring relentlessly for 2 years straight but the energy level was amazing. 2 years before they rocked at the monsters of rock in Basel in 91.

The four Horsemen in their playing prime I can’t believe this is 30 years ago. Once you realize that everything else just is what it is. Nobody has done or ever will do what Metallica has done. There is no concert to this day I would rather be in the crowd at.

He's studied vocal technique since and has grown from a brilliantly talented teenage screamer into an adult male vocalist whose vocal cords can survive the brutal gig of fronting Metallica! His longevity is a thing of beauty.
