José Eduardo González Delgado sure! Ghostkid (people call him sushi) was in a band called Eskimo callboy. At the end of last year he announced that he will leave Eskimo after 10 years. A few months later Eskimo found a new singer (Nico Sallach) and released the song ,,Hypa Hypa“(you should check it out, it‘s fuckin awesome). A few weeks later, Sushi released his own single ,,Start a Fight“. And the two songs sound completely different, but their awesome in their own style. I hope i explained it a bit understandable 😅

Theres more; this Ghostkids guitarist & bassist AND Eskimo Eskimo Callboys new vocalist came from the same band : To the Rats and Wolves. Like Eskimo Callboy, they played electronicore, and both bands frequently toured together. Sushi/Ghostkid did a feature on one of their songs. They broke up earlier this year, shortly before Sushi left Eskimo Callboy. And while that initially seemed like a double bummer, it seemed to be good timing as its resulted in the new Eskimo Callboy lineup and this band, both of which are very good

I find it amazing how Sushi left Eskimo Callboy and joined some ex To the Rats and Wolves members to form GHØSTKID while the ex clean vocalist from To the Rats and Wolves (Nico) joined Eskimo Callboy. It's like two of my favorite bands joined forces to create something epic. I look forward to the future of GHØSTKID and Eskimo Callboy!

Jau. Ich feier zwar auch EC mit Nico, aber Sushi hat sich nicht lumpen lassen. Auch wenn ich finde dass er hier mehr hätte rausholen könne, da sind wir andere Dinge von seiner Stimme gewohnt. Aber so als jemand der beides Feiert irgendwie Win-Win. EC mit frischem Wind, Sushi mit neuer Band. Jetzt hab ich zwei Bands zum abgehn. :D

@@durzoblint7044 TTRAW ist aber kein Verlust. Musik war gut, keine Frage aber ich habe auch schon gehört, dass auf Konzerten gerne Playback gespielt worden ist. Außerdem fande ich Dixi irgendwie unsympatisch. Vielleicht ist er Privat ganz nett. Als ich AGD,For I am King, Breath Atlantis und halt TTRAW in Bochum gesehen hatte, sah man von TTRAW nach den Konzerten nichts. Mit den einen oder andere der anderen Bands konnte man sich noch unterhalten ein wenig und zur Aftershow Party an einen anderen Standort in Bochum war TTRAW gar nicht mehr zu sehen

@@flair_of_hollywood_in_germany Hm, das musste wohl eine Ausnahme sein. Ich hab TTRAW viermal gesehen und bis auf einmal (Nova) konnte ich mit der gesamten Band nach der Show plaudern und Fotos machen. Und deren Live-Auftritte zählen zu meinen absoluten Favoriten. Kein Playback. Klar, die Elektronik und so weiter wird eingespielt, aber die Screams und alles drum und dran war (jedenfalls bei meinen vier Konzerten) immer echt. Mit Dixi hab ich nie viel gesprochen. Ich hab mich vorwiegend mit Nico und Stanni unterhalten. Wirklich unwahrscheinlich coole Typen.

Sehe ich genauso. Auf Rehab war in so ziemlich jedem Song offensichtlich, dass Eskimo Callboy in dieser Form einfach viel zu kompromissbeladen agieren. Und jetzt liefern beide „Fraktionen“ richtig solide ab.
