In common parlance of our daily life Gosht does include Bones. When I go the the butcher and ask him to give me gosht, he gives me meat along with bones. Bones are part of the general term "meat". So I belibe that if pork is harram it's bones are also haraam. Will request that Ghamidi sb's response is is sought on this point. If we distingh gosht from Bones, then logically it means that pork skin is also not gosht, and we can enjoy the crispy succulent pork skin.

In the light of following Hadith, it’s better to avoid something which creates doubt whether it’s gelatin, or buying homes & cars on mortgage. On the authority of Abu Muhammad al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib, the grandson of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his beloved (may Allah be pleased with both of them), who said: I memorized from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), “Leave that which makes you doubt for what that which does not make you doubt”. (Reported by at-Tirmidhi and an-Nasaa’i. At-Tirmidhi said: “It is a Hasan Sahih hadith”)

well The gelatine basically consists of Chain of Amino Acids and the amino acids from Bovine and from Pigs is entirely different. and the gelatine extracted from both types of animals remain different even after extraction.So you cannot eat gelatine extracted from pigs . And mind it the gelatins (amino acids) are basically extracted from bones and skin doesn't change the amino acid building block remain the same and there is no chemical change. Even the gelatine extracted from Halal animals but not slaughtered as per Fiqah rule cannot be used. WAlla Alim Bil sawab.

The question is: in the generally accepted terminology, are ligaments, tendons, and bones included in meat (Lahm) or not? obviously, "meat' includes not only muscle tissue but also the fat tissue, connective tissue (ligaments and tendons) and bone tissue. They are all meat or "Lahm". Secondly, If someone makes soup from pork, removes the meat (all kinds of tissue) from it and consumes only soup, will it be halaal. For example, is consommé soup prepared from pork halaal? Obviously not. How can then gelatin be halaal which is actually soup of the tendons, ligaments and bones? As for transformation, just as cooking meat or paaye (پائے) does not constitute transformation, similarly cooking bones is not transformation. So, Ghamidi Sahib, your opinion about gelatine is based on faulty logic.

These are just personal opinions. We need to focus on the Qur'an and its text. The text is clear. When the Qur'an says that Lahm al-khinzeer is haram, so that means the eating of this meat is haram. Using a pig's heart in humans has nothing to do with eating Lahmal khinzeer. Eating meat of any animal does not become a part of the eater's body as it was claimed by Ghamidi sahib. It only provides energy and raw material for the maintenance of the human body. If the body functions with a pig's heart, that's for the benefit of many human lives and that's great.

I think we should separate chemical changes from biological changes. Biological changes that is in the soil a dead animal was buried and above it a plant was grown. Also, chemical process for changing wine to vinegar is a different example. Cannot be applied. Reason being we know very well that wine is haram is due to its effect of making humans semi concious and due that he loses his control against bad actions. If wine through any process losses its this charaterstic, it automatically becomes halal. However, this is not the case with meat. We do not know the actual reason that why carnivorus animals meat is haraam and if we know the reason that by eating these animals we automatically acquire wild characterstics in ourselves, it's very difficult to associate these wild characterstics with a human who eats these haram animals

سور کی کھال سے بنے جوتے یا ملبوسات، سور کے بالوں سے بنی بہت سی مصنوعات کے بارے میں کیا خیال ہے؟؟ غامدی صاحب کے نزیک تو شاید جائز ہو مگر جس چیز کو اللّٰہ اور پاک نبی نے منع فرمایا ہے اُس کی طرف رغبت تک بھی نہیں ہونی چاہئے! دوسری بات، کیا گدھا حرام ہے؟؟ اگر ہاں تو کیوں؟؟ اور اگر حلال ہے تو اس کے استعمال پر پاکستان میں اس قدر ہنگامہ کیوں؟؟

Istihlal ------ like alcohol is converted to different substance which is no longer the same and not intoxicating. So gelatin is ok--- it is no longer meat of pork. Meat of pork is haram,--- but if something is not meat---- like gelatin is ok probably.

Over explanation for something which is very simple. There are many alternatives available. He wont take responsibility of his asool on judgement day and person will be responsible for his deeds. Unfortunately very poorly explained with no scientific basis. We all know that a body of a human or an animal has different organs closely linked to each other. Bones, flesh, skin, pancreas , liver, heart are all sharing same blood, lymphatics, hormones, enzymes etc. For those not learned in basic science they may consider flesh as an isolated organ from rest of the body!! Their choice
