Ghar Wapsi...must be aggressively followed in northeastern regions of Manipur and Assam as a pilot project. Making a video on 'Garo' tribe of Meghalaya, the Hindu jati converted to Christianity. Garos conversion to Christianity in 1867 gave missionaries 'hope' in this region when they were about to leave the region for good. Rest is history.

Dharma has no conflict with secular. If we removed all the non secular policies like minoirity commission, or certain beliefs labelled as minority, minority not done state or district wise, so they continue to enjoy rights even if they are the richest, or 99% in a state. Similarly you can remove article 295A, because blasphemy is not a dharmic concept. Debate, preservation as well as evolution is dharmic. What we really need to combat is caste and PDC - public display of caste should be banned, and unless you are a vedic scholar you cannot be a brahmin, unless you are in police or army you are not a kshatriya, unless you are a skilled labour you are not shudra, unless you are in business you are not a vaishya. Varna has to be retaught has quadrants, and reject hierarchial and hereditary shashtras. If we don't do that, our religion will fail from within. Some ancient book called Ved cannot become the prism of every govt decison. There are tribals and many non vedic traditions of this soil.

Unlike Christianity and Islam and even Buddhism (if you want a Dharmic example) which has been able to retain the same philosophical core in different cultural skins. Just compare how different Buddhism is in Japan, China, and India, yet it is largely the same philosophy. The same is true of Christianity and Islam which adapted to the lands they travelled to, although of course you do have an emergent tendency towards Arabization in the latter and (to a lesser extent) Europeanization in the former.

That's not how ghar wapsi works. If you do not abolish caste system, there is no reason for people to leave world's richest and most organised religions, where anyone could become an imam or priest is a systematic way, settle in so many countries, eat whatever they want without judgement. Infact UAE and Saudi is reforming islam. Homosexuality has become legal in Saudi. Now they will become both rich and progressive. And Hindus will fight over caste, dowry and beef and remain in poverty and internal conflicts. Eventually everyone will convert to Christianity and Islam, as they will create modern prosperous and EQUAL societies and bait everyone with it.
