Instead of releasing overflow water to open ground surface you can redirect it to underground soakpit also to recharge underground water levels. We've been doing this at my home for last 17 years and encouraging people to do such a good KARMA giving back to nature.

mei bhi 15 sal sei rainwatar harvesting kar raha hu. Aur purani 2"x 65' boring dwara ground water recharge kar raha hoo. Par mere arthik aur byabastha gat kami ke karan storage sirf 600ltr ki hai. Guwahati se aapko dhanyabad.

Prem ji, aap bhi meri hi tarah apne 1st floor ki chhatt ka pani apne ground floor ki chhatt pe hi ek tank me store kar sakte hai. Jisko for aap asaani se ground floor me use kar sakte hai. Aisa karne se motor lagane ki jaroorat nhi padegi.

Ideally water harvesting storage tank makaan ki foundation se minimum 10 feet distance par hona chahiye. Tab seelan ki problem nhi aayegi.

No it is not necessary if you just want to do ground water recharge. For that just make sure to add sufficient filtering material to the recharge pit so that the filtered water goes to underground so that it does not polluted the same. There are many videos on KZbin which shows you how to do that 👍😊

Rain water ki tanki me barish ka Pani bharne ke bad tanki me aur kya dalna chahiye jiske karan pura sal pani acha rahe. Aur usko direct pi sakte hey yaa usko filter karne ki jarurat padegi.

Bhumish Ji, Water tank ko clean rakhna jaroori hai. Har rainy season ke baad ache se saaf krna hoga. Pani me thoda clorine daalne se bacteria nhi honge. Aur haa peene ke liye use krna hai to RO ke through purify karna jaroori hai ya fir ubaal ke piye. Baki kisi bhi kaam ke liye araam se seedha hi use kiya jaa sakta hai.

Protsaahan ke liye aapka dhanywaad. Nya ghar banwate waqt to asaani aur saste me ban sakta hai kyuki labour and plumber waise bhi kaam karenge hi. Additional kharcha is baat pe depend krta hai ki aapke waha underground tank construction ka kya rate liya jata hai. Hamare yaha with material lagbhag 1000 rupees per sq ft tha us time.

Agar aap pani ko peene ke liye use nhi kar rahe hain to filtration ki jaroorat nhi hogi kyuki normal filtration to ek jali se hi ho jayega. But agar peene ke liye use karna hai to better hai isko RO se yah aur kisi filter ka use kar le.

Is water clean enough to direct it to sump after passing through rain water harvesting filter to where clean corporation water comes? Because corporation water is treated water and rain water is not treated for all the bacteria that's on our roof surface. Can we mix both the water??? Please answer this

We in our setup are using rainwater for all nondrinking purposes only. However yes, it can used for drinking as well provided you have the first flush mechanism which do not allows the first rain water to your want. Usually the first rain water washes away the harmful pollutants from atmosphere as well as roof tops. Corporations usually treat the water with bleaching powder and clorine which you can also add to your sump in safe amount. Once that is done the rainwater could be filtered in your kitchen before consumption.
