The Gharial together with the Saltwater Crocodile is my favorite animal in the game so I am really happy that it got a place in this zoo ^^ This exhibit is a thing of beauty with the unterwater viewing plaza with the water falls, the tropical vegetation to the whole exhibit, I really love this built! The Gharial will have a nice and happy life here :) I am really looking forward to the next built with another favorite of mine, the komodo dragon and then for the Polar Bear!!! So thanks for the video Lady and I see you in the next one :)

Maybe your water area isn't big enough for the saltwater croc? I had no issues in my saltwater crocs but I made a huge river for them.

Also sometimes the reason why some animals dont swim is because the proportion between the water area they have and the land area they have, In my franchise zoo I had some flamingos and because the land area was like 3 times the water area the have, the rarely wanted to go swimming, i hope this could help you😊

Gharial do not stalk or lunge at their prey like other crocodilans instead their snout contains a sensory cell that can detect vibrations in the water. By whipping their heads from side to side the animals grabs the prey in its jaw. They are also called the tomistoma and is critally endangered with only 700-1400(not very sure) left in the wild

There is no difference in types of water in the game ☺ you can only, in sandbox, set how dirty the water is ☺

I don't think it will.. it's gonna be a mess to upload it as one big whole habitat and the paths won't be included in the blueprint.. I think its only gonna make people frustrated they cant get the paths right.. also water won't be included, since many of the glass barriers wont be joining either with the blueprint.. I really dont feel anything for uploading this just cause its gonna be so messy for a lot of people and it would ruin my whole build ☺

There is a possibility to make wonkey underwater tunnels in Planet Zoo atm.. But it's so buggy I just never really feel tempted to create one. I have this feeling that Planet Zoo is still working on it, thats why its not officially a thing yet, but hopefully this will be working well if we ever get an aquatic DLC ☺

what have you tried with the monitors and crocs? Cause it could be vegetation making it difficult, or maybe the banks are too sharp.....or it could be the game confused with the way you built the enclosure with the invisible barriers 🤷🏽‍♀️ that’s really weird

There is a huge space in both habitats for them to enter the water 😊 the traversable area is huge, so its really not the issue 😊 they just dont go in the water 😆

Honestly to me underwater viewing exhibits don’t have that much hype behind it because most of the animals don’t even go underwater I may be wrong I don’t have to game so I’m basing my knowledge on every underwater viewing video I’ve seen but it’s not as realistic or exciting to me when animals such as the hippo crocodilians even the bears love to swim and dunk below the surface
