Orangutan Habitat | Little Asia | City Zoo | Speed Build | Planet Zoo | Speedbuild | Enclosure | Exhibit | Ep. 32 | In this episode, we move the Bornean Orangutans from the House of Primates to our first enclosure in Little Asia. We will use a lot of inspiration from the Asian area in Pairi Daiza because they have this Asian style that would perfectly fit our City Zoo. Just something I noticed but as an Asian, I would love to see people branching out from more than just 'Chinese-esque' buildings and themes. For example, the colour red is mostly synonymous with Chinese culture as it is considered a lucky colour. Orangutans come from Indonesia and that is not a Chinese dominated city so I think the infastructure doesn't really reflect its origins. Asia is afterall made up of many different unique and beautiful countries and landscapes. Nontheless you're doing a really good job. Loving all your videos! ❤

I think it's not that unusual to have both elephants in one zoo. I know a few zoos here in germany, which have asian and african elephants in separate habitats. And Zoo Magdeburg even have/had an asian elephant within the african herd. :)
