Hey about rotmire creed. I played them at grand flash and unfortunately found out 2( been told by a TO) games in that's not how they play. The target gets full disease points but the rest only get 1 :( . Needless to say that just about ruined my game plan because I was deep striking them with gutrot spume for an early game disease bomb in combination with the masque ( masque gets them to Castle up, disease bomb puts disease on a whole bunch of units). I got my opponents to behave the way I wanted to but because I could no longer get anything more than 1 DP on all the other units, it wasn't doing much. just don't want anybody else to find out the hard way.

Are you sure about this ? As i'm reading it, ''EACH TIME A disease point is given to an enemy unit from Rotmire, each other unit within 3'' is ALSO given 1 diseases point'', so.. each time. The sentence 'The same unit cannot be affected more by this ability more than once' refers to another Rotmire creed unit using their same ability on the same units who already have been given disease points.

Yeah, I played them many times and it got faq not long ago, they can spread only 1 disease no matter how 6s they do, but the wording on the rule is bad.@@assift1246

That's just wrong. If you rolled one attack die at the time then yes, after getting one disease point the unit within 3" would only get 1 disease point. Since all attacks are resolved at the same time, the sentence about "cannot be affected more than once" kicks in when another unit of Rotmire Creed shoots.

Yeah they changed it in an update. It now specifically says each other unit is given only 1

Great game. Deepkin did well, very tight game, but lack of healing hurt you here. I would have taken a Soulrender over the Tidecaster for the healing on Namarti, which would have helped negate the disease point attrition. Also I only ever run Allopexs as single models, because otherwise they always flee to battleshock because you'll always roll a 6 for them.

I'd actually like to hear the players narrate their turns themselves if the original narrator is not available. It would potentially give the narration a bit more emotional. But ofc we in the comments dont know how your actual planning and time management works and you are doing a great job. every batrep is just 10/10

Thanks a ton! Sadly wouldn't be viable to have the players record VO as we'll have to bring them in a 2nd separate time to record it for each match - great idea otherwise though, and appreciate the feedback!
