i tried it out today. It came out welll but i want a very soft texture. what should i add to make it a softer one ? The taste is awsome and the method is easy.

+Sapna Unni Its with the sugar and low flame! Do not burn the sugar. Just dissolve in low flame and once dissolved, add the besan and ghee batter. FYI, Mysore Pak's consistency is delicate. You might get the perfect texture after couple of trials. So dont get dissapointed till you get it the way you want. We are sure that you will be a master of it very soon :) BTW, Some how we missed your message. so, Sorry for the delay in reply.

Hi hema .thks for d easy demo but..1 cup besan+1 cup sugar and 150 g ghee....how much ghee is that? Is it less than 1 cup? I'm in doubt becos mysore pak is already a risky recipe. .if we add wrong qty of ghee it won't turn out grt...

G/M M sorry, for the late reply. yes, you can check take the sugar syrup (Don't take it too hot) between thumb & index finger a single string will form that's the correct consistency.

This is far from Mysore Pak. This is besan barfi.

+Chhaya Raghuvanshi We add grated coconut and other ingredients to make barfi. Also the consistency varies while making barfi. Try this version and you will see and taste the differenc. we hope you will like the taste too! Thanks a lot for the comment :)
