Ghee Rice - Lunch Box Recipes
This is a very simple one pot recipe for lunch boxes or for those lazy weekdays, when I am in no mood to cook and elaborate meal I make this. It is not only easy to make and you can make it with simple ingredients that are easily available in out pantry.
Ghee rice tastes great with any veggie curry like kormas, chicken/ meat curry or just a plain cucumber raita as an accompaniment. At time I do serve it with some anda masala. Kids love to have this with yoghurt.

1 cup rice
1 onion
Chopped coriander leaves
Ghee as required
Salt as per taste
1 Maggie cube
10-12 peppercorns
1/2 cumin seeds
3 cardamons
4 cloves
1 star anise
2 small pieces cinnamon stick
1 tsp giner garlic paste
3-4 green chilies
Color optional
