Thank you Nettie. Ghent is a really wonderful city, so much to see and do! Most people do it as a day trip from Brussels but I recommend staying at least 1 night as trying to squeeze so much into a single day would be very hectic! Hope you are having an excellent weekend, cheers from barnyz👍👍👍

Gravensteen is a amazing castle 🏰 it’s good that it is converted into a museum it will be well maintained for future generations. So many beautiful buildings and churches everywhere …what a beautiful city . The St Bavus cathedral contains one iconid medieval painting called " AGnus Dei" , estimated price ? No idea but certainly one of the most expensive in the world !

thanks for watching. Its very easy to reach. Get the Eurostar to Brussels then from the same train station it's about 30mins by train. Of course its worth stopping in Brussels as well (see future video ;) ). cheers from barnyz

Thanks. I usually spend a lot of time researching before and after visiting each location. Using google maps or wikipedia or official tourist websites. Also many places with have information inside them such as guide books etc.

8 minutes travel guide about Ghent ? ("how dare you", Greta t.) it is way too short ! Ghent requires a full day to visit at least 20% of it so please, next time do a full video (with comments) of at least one hour.

Thanks for watching and I agree mostly. I was actually there for 3 days and this was my second visit (and there is still some stuff i didnt have time to see). I make my videos short as I believe most people prefer shorter videos. Also I spend a lot of effort on my videos, so making one an hour long would take me months 🙃

@@Barnyz There is so much things to say about Ghent (my second favourite city in the world ! my first one is Lisboa (capiral of Portugal) well please can you add spoken comments next time it helps a lot for many people. I know Ghent as my own city so if you need further information....

@Guy Vandurme I have started recently to experiment with talking in my videos so I will perhaps update some of these videos in the future. But it takes a lot of effort so not sure when 👍
