Veeeeery cool ship. The smoke plus sonar and torps is the ice and the heal is the cherry. I play it with a kinkaid build for more agility. Works really well.

I can't seem to make Anchorage work for me. But I have fairly routine monster games in Balti, Witchita, even getting solid results with Tulsa at T8. But I guess Anchorage requires a different play style than the others. But maybe I just need Kuznetzov for more range like your build? I use him with the Kutuzov and it seems to work so maybe...🤷‍♂

I like the ship. in a division its pretty strong. if you get the spotting and can sit in open water, shooting broadside BBs and cruisers, they will melt. ofc, if you dont have spotting its tough. and to me, it feel like it takes damage a lot easier then other heavy american cruisers.

Would you say this ship is better than the Wichita? Since it has the same caliber guns and torps

In some situations yes. But the ability to radar and better agility on the Wichita makes it a good DD hunter. Wichita’s are more valuable.
