I always wondered if you could epoxy the crack. I though that's where you were going when you took out the clamp. Althoug a vice would be better for that. BTW I loved how you flinched when your mags started spraying gas :D
@GBBEnthusiast2 жыл бұрын
I actually have an upcoming video of me super gluing the KWA feed lips which encounter a similar problem to the GHK feed lips. The epoxy seems like a better idea because it's definitely going to be stronger and the feed lips get worn pretty easily. LOL it's definitely a sound that you don't want to hear as a GBBR owner! I just imagine I have to crack open the mag just to oil it and it's such a hassle especially if you have more than one leaking mag. That feed lip video will be live by the end of the week so don't miss that one.

@@GBBEnthusiast I won't, I like your videos. Some of my comments are not that useful but I think youtube recommends the video to others with greater chance if I "engage" after watching it. I'm not sure how it works though.

@@sogerc1 Yes sir, the more you comment the better the video does in the algorithm! As a GHK user another issue I have also encountered(twice now) is that the little bitty spring that connects the trigger to the valve striker snaps apart after some fair use. I'm not too sure if it is because of how much I use my rifle that affects the spring's durability or it is just that the spring itself is just that delicate. On Samoon the spring part is called M4-25-1-plus. Let me know if anyone else has experienced an issue too with that tiny spring or not and if there is an alternative of replacing the spring for a more durable. I love GHK, but after using my M4 for almost two years now, I think I would've had a better and less hassling experience if I bout a TM MWS :(
@GBBEnthusiast2 жыл бұрын
How many rounds have you put through your GHK? I haven't had many issues with the trigger group on the GHK and it's one of the things that impressed me the most about the GHK. But I've had that part break on some of my GBBPs and a quick fix would be to bend the snapped end so that it can hook. I think that part eventually will wear out but I agree that it's frustrating since you have to disassemble the majority of the trigger group. The MWS has it's fair share of issues (plastic buffer breaking on propane/green gas, nozzle spring snapping) but overall it's definitely a good buy if you don't care too much about FPS. But yes overall I would say you can use the TM for a while before anything breaks. Thanks for commenting with the exact part that you broke and it's part name, it will definitely help people if they run into the same thing!

@@GBBEnthusiast Thank you for the reply! I have put around 10K+ bbs through it and I have treated my GHK somewhat harshly, but no more than how I have treated my AEGs. I still love my GHK and how it surprises me every time I shoot it. But it is the ""meticulous-ness" of fixing the small things of it that makes me frustrated with their platform, especially the valve striker's spring. I have resolved my issue not by re-bending the same spring, but by using a random spring the same size I found in my tool bin that is a tad stiffer as a replacement. I just hope GHK can improve their quality of the plastics and that tiny spring. Yes there are issues too with the MWS, but they can be easily dodged by using OEM parts. Because of Tokyo Marui's large support for parts, I feel that the MWS would be the best for any GBBR beginner and that they have a slight upper hand when compared to GHK. I might still pick one up and compare it myself to see how it holds up with the GHK.

@GBBEnthusiast2 жыл бұрын
Personally I wouldn’t want to upgrade the internals until they break on either of them. The MWS sear will need replacing after 5k rounds and the nozzle spring. All the GHK needs is a hop up and feed lip fixes.

@@GBBEnthusiast Thanks man. I just picked up the MWS. Is it safe to run green gas? I apologize for my lack of knowledge. Just subscribed to your channel.

@@Gigitygigity24 Yes, you can run green gas without much trouble. Keep in mind, you’re going to have to replace the plastic buffer (2 of mine broke). I’ll make another video like this one for the MWS in the future detailing the problems I’ve encountered with mine. Thanks for the sub!

What’s the best way to fix a leaky mag? I have the Ghk GMags and have 4 of them leaking smh. Please help!!!!
@GBBEnthusiast2 жыл бұрын
Where are the leaks coming from? Is it leaking from the bottom of the mag, the inlet valve, the gas release valve, or the top of the mag near the gas router?
@lazarus14152 жыл бұрын
@@GBBEnthusiast gas release valve on the side
@GBBEnthusiast2 жыл бұрын
@@lazarus1415 So for the gas release valve I find that the problem is usually because the mags vent a lot of gas when you encounter a jam and freeze the seals. What you need to do is remove the valve with a valve key and soak the seals with silicone oil. If you can't or don't have a valve release tool, you can try spraying or dropping some silicone oil on the valve and cycling for like 30 seconds with your finger. The silicone oil may not penetrate all the way through, but it's the 2nd best solution from my experience. Also, try dropping some silicone oil into the gas router to let the oil soak in to swell up the seals. Thanks for your comment and I hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

File all your feed lips with a 7/32" chainsaw file before they break.....problem solved. I know it's a pain in the a, but it is what it is.
@GBBEnthusiast2 жыл бұрын
How much did you have to file off? I was always hesitant on pre emptive filing just in case the mag didn't need to be filed. One of my mag feed lips hasn't broken yet and it's the one that came with the GBBR. All the other feed lips have broken and this fix suggested by Samoon helped.

Fix dont work 😂😂😂
@GBBEnthusiast2 жыл бұрын
Hi Matthias, if the feed lip fix didn't work for you have you tried putting more pressure on the feed lip with the vise grips? If not, you can try heating the feed lip for longer with the hair dryer. If that doesn't work, maybe try removing the feed lips and adding some super glue to the the crack. Thanks for watching and thanks for your comment!
@The_Profilerzofficial2 жыл бұрын
@@GBBEnthusiast hi , actually dont have the right clamp for that ( maybe is ) but how longer heat ? And how longer the fix work ? Howewer thanks for this video
@GBBEnthusiast2 жыл бұрын
@@The_Profilerzofficial The vise grip is very important to get the feed lips tighter so the BBs don't shoot out of the top of the mag and cause a double feed. For the hairdryer, try 15 seconds first, test it with some BBs, and repeat. Safety note* If you're heating up your mag for a long time, make sure to release the gas. This is because if you heat the mag too much the gas will also heat up resulting in an increase in pressure and blowing out your seals. You'll probably have to buy a new release valve if this happens. The fix has worked for about six months for me but I haven't used my GHK very much since I fixed the mags. If it stops working you can just do it again because it's free to fix, if you have the right tools. Thanks for watching!

Superglue the crack (make sure you press the crack together hard till superglue takes a hold. Let it sit for a few hours or a whole day better yet. Then file the lips on the inside just a little as you would if it was a brand new mag. It works like a charm I fixed 3 mags this way and none have had this problem again.
