Ghost Fight (UNDERTALE) Jazz Cover

What is there to say about Undertale? One of the best games I've played in a long time. While I'm not normally a connoisseur of video games, I know a good one when I see one. I haven't laughed out loud or just plain smiled at a game in a long time. Toby Fox, the composer of this tune, made the whole game, and it's a really special thing when the same person who made the game makes the music. There's an extra connection there and Mr. Fox did just that. As for my arrangement, I tried to keep things pretty faithful to the original game. There wasn't a whole lot of material to work with in this tune, so I kept things simple, instead of turning things inside out like I do with a lot of my other covers! +insaneintherainmusic Can't give any suggestions as of late seeing as I have gotten to the beginning of the game and let me tell you, so far I agree with everything what you say! For the longest time, I don't think I've smiled so much as I have when I played this for the first time game and I get the impression that this is going to be one I'll remember for the rest of my life. Also, as an artist, it gladdens me to no end to hear that this game and its music were both made by the same person. It helps giving it its own special vision when you get exactly everything you want it to be.

This is amazing! The saxophone is perfect for this song and you totally killed it. I would love to hear you do "Heartache", it's one of my most favorite songs from the game! And to those who keep requesting he cover 'Spider Dance', these two songs are practically the same exact song! Napstablook's version is a more bouncy jazz version, where Muffet's is more fast and slightly creepy! They share nearly identical melodies. So it wouldn't be much fun to basically cover the same song again!

I think you may have mixed up a few songs by mistake, "Spider Dance" and "Ghost Fight" are two entirely different melodies, while "Dummy!" and "Ghost Fight" are copies of each others melodies at varying speeds and pitches. Hope this helps.

Nope. "Spider Dance" is also based off the "Ghost Fight" melody. The rhythm is different (straight eighths instead of swing eighths), the instrumentation is *very* different, it's key-shifted, and the tempo may be changed just a little bit, but it's still the same baseline melody. The major differences between "Ghost Fight" and "Spider Dance" are in terms of arrangement, not melody.

It's a very fun instrument, I'd highly recommend it! I'd suggest going to your local music store and inquiring about renting an instrument, it's better to rent and pay less money than buy an instrument up-front when you might not want to stick with it for that long!
