The fact that this sounds like a typical Christian church song is extremely brilliant when you think about it. Along the same lines, the clip is also very cleverly done.

That depends on your interpretation. Is satan lucifer? Why? Sammael was an angel once so why fall? One interpretation is that he dared to have free will. The church wont teach you that though. Take from this what you will but the concept of true evil doesn't really exist. Neither does 'satan'. Not how hes depicted anyway. Ive heard that satan was actually a title. Hence why lucifer is called it. True or not depends upon what dogma you use. The scripture of the babble will have you believe satan is totally evil and so is lucifer but is that really the truth. The thing is there are always two sides and the truth is usually in the middle. Yake this as you will. You will never convince true believers anyway as you cant convince faith with logic and facts.

Tobais Forge's use of satire to critique society is absolutely on par. Not only is he a great musician, vocalist, and actor, but he is also extremely intelligent and sensitive to the ghastly infirmities of the world which he exposes through the use of his band. Amazing person. 10/10 would follow into hell.
@mitchhaelann92156 жыл бұрын
I think you mean 'on point'. 'On Par' means it's average, or to be expected for the circumstances, an old reference to the scoring system used in golf. 'On Point' indicates that it is a leader, a front-runner, or an exceptional example.
@vespass2256 жыл бұрын
Hi Sarah! I think your comment is really spot on. Some seem hesitant and pay too much attention to Ghost's seemingly traditional satanistic touch. Anyone that bothers to take a closer look at what Tobias really does and says, and which message he truly radiates, can see that it is love and compassion rather than an addiction for "tormenting and killing innocent christians". And furthermore, as you pointed out, he has a razor sharp eye for the often hidden true evil and injustice in society and the world, and uses his artistry in a delicate way to potentially make a difference.

Same. I heard this song for the 1st time at their concert at Bondall last saturday nite. The spotlight was on Tobias and there was gold glitter in the air,the 20,000 odd people in the stadium were dead quiet and him singing was beyond haunting, it bought tears to my eyes,was magical.

Im from Dallas. And ya it is. Im in music so Ive been going to LA for a long time. Started going out there for weeks at a time around 2004. I loved it when I first started going out and had my eyes set on a place in Santa Monica. Some things came up and wound up having to put off moving and I noticed around 5 years ago that entire city started turning into a dump. The beaches crowded with homeless people and now its just depressing. I try NOT to go out there if I can get away with it. Its a mess. L.A. is a good example and really southern CA as a whole is a good example of what the end result of the politics and religious views of people like the guys in this video hold wind up having on other people. Whats worse? A fake preacher being a hypocrite or starving kids because you believe youre entitled to their family's money? Or polluting air? One thing I noticed also is people who live in LA age really fast. You have people who are 30 who look 40. And its the pollution. People always think im way younger than i am especially out there because their environment pre-maturely ages them. I guess thats a great thing for liberals. Liberals are the BIGGEST HYPOCRITES on planet earth. I have NO MORE tolerance for them or THEIR HYPOCRISY. They have NOTHING to say to ANYONE about ANYTHING.... EVER. Im not even nice to them anymore. I refuse to put up with their garbage.
@thetruthchannel3496 жыл бұрын
Ya man. Dallas is still overall like old America. Course, you have liberals here trying to cause trouble but there are so many old school Texans and conservatives and independents theyre not as bold. In CA they are empowered by the crazies that crooked their way into power. You dont honestly think your present governor was actually voted into that office? Please tell me you at least realize that? Democrats started their voter fraud experiments in CA back in the 60s.

I hate to admit this, but I'm totally new to Ghost, and now find myself trying to "catch up" with everything. I've been playing guitar and recording for over 40 years, and cant believe I havent found this band earlier. As an old guitar player, I embrace almost all and any music thats done well, and I just cant get enough of this right now. I find myself tangled in the myths and stories, and will say, his voice is amazing. I've worked in dozens of studios, with many, many vocalists of all kinds, and his voice is nothing less then amazing. So, to all those long time fans, point me to reliable sources for information. I want to know more about "Papa's" I, II, III, 0? The band, and of course, I'm well on my way to a collection of music....I found Ghost by way of a producer who told me.. "You have GOT to check these guys out...." SO glad I did.....

Even the second band now behind Tobias is a REALLY talented bunch. Stuff like when exactly did the band mates change, the history behind the whole band...stuff like that. I've done a TON of reading and listening since I first posted this, so I'm much more up to speed. Thanks for taking the time to reply...
