I went to this concert 2 years ago. It was really special. This was one of my favorite songs. One of my best friends just passed away two days ago after 2 years fighting cancer. I loved him dearly. I was so afraid to dedicate this song to him because I didn't want to think he would die soon. Now, all I think about is how I wish he is now eternal, and has no pain, no suffering. My father passed away very unexpectedly eight days ago, on January 13th, and it has been very tough on me mentally and emotionally, as one would expect. It was a total shock to my family. This song has become a sort of tribute for me to my dad. We have always known what he wanted if he were ever in this situation, so we took him off the ventilator last Friday so that he could pass in peace.
