Thanks bro! I have an AL390 and I knew that there was a way to get a 5th round in this shotgun... I just hadn't been able to figure it out yet! Until I saw your video! Thanks again!

You beretta owers should be lucky. We need to probably maintain/clean these firearms. Ive been using this firearm since i was young which my uncle gaved me and still using it doesn't matter how advanced their firearms are

I own 2 Beretta A L2's. One 12ga and one 20ga. Both are chambered for 2¾. Both will take the extra shell under the bolt, and both will shoot and function normally even shooting 3" shells. I used my 12ga for about 7 years of duck hunting, firing on avg around 1 case (250) shells per season. I no longer duck hunt but continue to use the gun for dove hunting. It functions normally and shows no adverse signs from firing the 3" magnum shells during my duck hunting years. Almost forgot, with the A L2 there is nothing that needs to be pressed underneath to lower the little cover, just ease the bolt back and drop the shell in. It does usually require you to hold down on the extra shell just a little until the bolt clears the butt end of the shell.

My bolt won't go far enough back without engaging the carrier to get the shell in I have the a303 and everything is the same except that and I can't hit the carrier button without a shell coming out the tube

hi do you know if this technique will work on a beretta al391 or the a300 outlander many thanks
@TonimusMaximus9 жыл бұрын
It should work on any similar action with the release button just to the rear of the carrier plate, but you'd have to try it out.
@avpinstarter9 жыл бұрын
TonimusMaximus thanks it works on the A300 outlander but not the 391

Tonimus I recently bought an A302 off of gun broker. Do you have a copy of your manual? What I'm trying to find out is if you have to push that carrier button after every time you reload.
@TonimusMaximus10 жыл бұрын
If pulling back on the bolt handle doesn't work, yes. You'll have to push the button.

Anybody knows difference between A301/A302/A303?

Almost the same. I have the 304

I do know that a303 was fist model to have screw in “flush” chokes, 302 is multi choke as well but a different kind. Think 301 is maybe fixed choke.

+TonimusMaximus The bolt is just not possible to work. the edge of the cartridge is blocking the action for the bolt. Sorry for not the best english. I just cant ghost load it for some reason. I will maybe further on try to record a video.

ESP MX250 When you push the carrier release button underneath, make sure the carrier actually moves down. If you're using 3 inch shells, you can guide the nose of the 5th shell into the magazine, which will allow it to get far enough out of the way to close the bolt.

Are you crazy?? If you do that the gas will bring back the other shell and or the gun will break or it will stick
@TonimusMaximus7 жыл бұрын
Apparently I am crazy. I've been doing it for 5 years now, and have never broken or seized anything. Even though this is a gas operated gun, the gas operates a plunger. The plunger operates the bolt and feed mech. The feed mech is completely separate from the plunger and will not feed if there is a shell already in place. That is the reason this even works.
@kostaslekkas20607 жыл бұрын
This gun won't live for a long time😐

Did you not hear the part about it having been 5 years already?

Good video bud. I know IPSC Competition shooters that do this with their A400 too, no problem getting that extra round in saves them a reload on some stages.
