As for the Shinobi, it is true that the Samurai looked down on them. That doesn't mean they didn't exist. They were simply seen as honourless dogs by the ones with power, yet still employed by the truly unscrupulous. The game is accurate enough, I guess. 7/10.

Women raised girls and Fathers raised boys...and always boys of medieval times n before looked up to men...women always took care of children up until 12years old or less. When Miyamoto Musashi fought his last duel against Sasaki Kojiro, the impatient Kojiro threw away the scabbard for his Nodachi, and Musashi told him that he had lost if he disrespected his weapon like that. And Musashi struck the fatal blow that day.

i love the sakai armour so much except the fact the cool helmets cover your eyes during cutscenes which sometimes looks cool and other times is annoying because the eyes are the window to your soul and obstructs some of the emotional performances by jin

Alternate title - Assassins Creed: Tshushima🤔 Joking aside, this game movie was very well put together (as always, thanks GLP!) and this was such an impressive story. Having skilled storytellers can make a huge difference in how a game flows. The graphics and animations were amazing, and I loved the details like the gusts of wind to guide you, and the interactions with your horse(s) between scenes.

The story was well made full of sadness and sacrifice both Lord Shimura and Lord Sakai were doing their duty for the people & for their country but in the same time both had different visions to deal with the enemy but have you asked yourselves who was right or wrong? Some say that Lord Sakai made the right decision to save lives And some believe that Lord Shimura was right for doing his duty & obeying his superiors. As for me personally I see them both wrong the path Lord Sakai took is like Stealing from the rich and giving to the poor yeah it's good thing to help the poor but not at the expense of the others that's not a good solution so lord Sakai abandoned his duty and his only family and disobeyed his superiors and brought shame heartbreaking to his beloved uncle because he did not review his actions, he could solve things without breaking his loved ones hearts or oppose his superiors. As for Lord Shimura, he believed loyalty & duty, no matter the cost, but he did not concentrate the situation what's good for all and solve the matter by consulting his son Lord Sakai or his commanders. Nice gameplay btw

What’s weird though is that real life Samurai bent their codes and acted the same as lord Sakai. They did what they had to to win wars and protect their people but they were so loyal to their code still that if they went to far or actually did betray their lords they would kill themselves in an art that’s considered honorable at the time. While they bender their code they held each other accountable and keeled each other from falling to far. I’m personally with Jim because he did what he had to for most of the time by himself. I’d say poisoning the enemy while defying his uncle was too far. However if he disobeyed by sabotaging the explosives and other countermeasures the mongols set up at castle shimura than it would have been better for him. As well as other samurai learning that lord shimura was insane and constantly using pointless brute force instead of actual military tactics and flanks. As I heard two samurai npc’s talking they said they were there to see if shimura was leading suicide charges constantly and to see if his tactics were the cause of failure. So all in all Sakai should have used patience with his tactics.

The PS5 rendition of this game made it about 2X better than it was before graphics and model-wise. It greatly improved the look of sooo many cutscenes and environments for sure. One of my many favorite scenes in this games, starting at 33:50 feels as though the emotion being expressed by both Jin and Yuna are sooo much more noticeable in the PS5 version than it did in PS4. Just the small things like the furrow of a brow and the subtle empathy is SOOO much more recognizable now!! The cinematics in this game lead me to believe that videogames are SOOOO close to just becoming interactive movies.

So heartbreakingly beautiful, this wonderful ride brings tears to my eyes. Too bad these very talented artists couldn't pay complete attention to color and equipment coordination. Though the environment, animal, and character CGI effects were so breathtakingly magnificent, I have to say that the numerous mistakes almost ruined my exquisite experience through this masterpiece. Almost. I really shouldn't complain, so I'll leave it at that.

Lord Shimura is the true coward he is stuck in the old ways of the samurai.Rather than take the initiative to charge down the beach with his army of samurai, he sent Lord Adachi alone to his death.How can one samurai fight off an army of mongols ? Lord Adachi didn’t have to die this way.Imagine he trained his whole life to be a well respected and skilled samurai just to one day have a Mongolian leader throw oil at him,lit him on fire then behead him.What a meaningless way for a prestigious samurai to die.This is the whole point of the game’s story.This is Jin’s perspective….i should of killed Lord Shimura at the end of the duel rather than to spare him to avenge Lord Adachi.But I only spared his life because he’s family and he looked after Jin ever since his father died.

Back in those days, each army used to send their best warrior for a 1v1 to settle the battle. But thats implying that both armies are honourable. Samurai were honourable but did not know that the Mongols were not. It was the first time the Samurai and the Mongols faced each other so they could not have known that the Mongols would not send their best warrior to settle the battle. I think you are a very young guy that does not understand what is honour. Even at the end, if you knew what honour was, you would have killed Lord Shimura to honour him and respect his last wish since he was family.

Also why you send one samurai alone to face off an army of Mongols while you stand atop a hill with ur army of samurai ? Do you really think Lord Adachi would of survived down at the beach ? Logically speaking it would of made more sense and also a better chance of lord adachi surviving the Mongol invasion had lord shimura charged down the beach all together from beginning.after they killed lord adachi he had no choice but to go down there with his army of samurai otherwise if he went alone which would be suicidal as well he too would suffer the same fate.jin is the only samurai with the balls to rise and adapt to new tactics so save his people and his land he ain't worried about stupid traditions and honor or the shogun.he did what he had to do.lord shimura is ever bathed in honor and traditions he's a puppet to the shogun.and that's why jin spared his life at the duel to prove his meaningful point of a real samurai.
