Shimura questioning Jin methods of combat? Nephew fought a small army too save you. And your question his battle conduct? That's what separate the Samurai from the Ninja. The ends justify the means; that's the ninja way. Battle should be fought with honor and bravery; the samurai way. If Jin stuck too the Samurai code for real? He'll never rescue his uncle at all.

Ryan. In real life, they weren’t that stubborn. They did face them onwards, however they had tactics and knew when to not to attack. of course they weren’t to that point of honor.
