Should You Buy in 2022?
Ghost of Tsushima encapsulates the beauty and brutality of the Kamakura period to near perfection and showcases the real life Mongol invasion of Japan in such a satisfyingly cinematic stylisation. Throughout my entire 30 to 40 hours playthrough, I was consistently astounded by the sheer beauty of Tsushima. But are the visuals enough to still be purchasing Ghost of Tsushima in 2022?

I have a general rule that my wife very much agrees with, I don't buy games at full price. I means that I miss out on all the original hype of any particular game, and I remember people being really excited about this game when it released a few years ago, but I picked it up for cheap a couple months ago and I've loved every minute I've spent in game. So yes the game is worth playing in 2022, if you haven't yet or worth replaying if you bought it when it first released.

This game is a must. I got it on a discount after they released NG+/Iki Island dlc and it’s honestly the perfect samurai game. There are so many different ways to play the game so I would say it’s very re-playable. 10/10 would recommend

There is a lock-on and the Japanese dub was updated with Japanese lip syncing with the PS5 version.

Imma go ahead and comment yes. Finally bought on sale a week or so ago and it’s shocked me how amazing it is. It’s everything I wanted in stealth games like assassins creed while also being action driven I enjoy like god of war. The story is also amazing, with side quests that “usually” matter a lot to building the background story/the story to the island

@@0111maged forgot which but it has the iki island dlc. I’ve slowed down on it (burnt out binge playing it). Man it has a lot of content! I do every single side quest as I tend to find doing them after completing main stories very boring. It’s been well well worth buying. Will probably finish after nioh 2

Nice review, I discovered your channel a while ago and am eagerly awaiting every new video since I binged through the available ones. One remark. I think a lock on system was added with the last update, which coincided with the release director’s cut. I have never found a need for it though as the combat is fluent and satisfying as it is. @@Respawnedgaming come to think of it they also added Japanese lip sync on PS5 using the fast ssd and computing power for live rendering during the cut scenes. Edit: I remember being annoyed that the Japanese sync didn’t come to ps4 pro which I am playing on and reading up on it. It’s pretty impressive actually. That way they didn’t have to re-render the cutscenes for another language setting.

I set up the controls the same as Eldern ring as I’ve played that for 245 hours and it’s got lock on in the last update.The Ps5 version has very good haptic feedback.Great game.

I will never experience Ghost of Tsushima for the first time again. And that makes me sad. Stunning visuals and a really impactful story about the horrors of war and doing what's right. It's one of my favorite games ever and I've been playing video games for 20 years.

This game, many of us know is intentionally historically inaccurate and is mostly humorless, and excells so well we dont care. Yes most of the gameplay is dramatic story, awesome combat and horse butts, but you also dont need more out of it than that, its like an epic movie and a game.

This game is fire 🔥 reminds me of Busido Blade but on steroids. It’s free as a PS plus member . Make sure you put it in Japanese with English subtitles for a more authentic experience

Ghost of Tsushima is the heavy altered Disney Version of the historical Nippon. (Minus the Musical - GoT The Musical... what a thought.) There was no Katana in 1274 or 1281, there was no Bushido code until the Tokugawa Shogunate brought a period of peace to Japan, therefore I was very disappointed with the Game. Until “Suckers” released the DC Update... I tried the game again and put down my Historian Hat. And enjoyed it... for what it was, a beautiful Open World Action Adventure, a bit long in the tooth... not on par with Witcher 3 or Red Dead 2 but the DC content closed the gap for a 2nd Place.. Cheers
