Also worth noting, if you first go to "Arrow Peak shrine" between "archer's rise" and "sakimori overlook on the map. There you can get "charm of inari" that you will increase the amount of supplies,predator hides,bamboo and yew wood you collect by around 20% making this supply farming even faster

Not seen anyone mention this so thought it was worth saying.. You dont have to constantly swipe up on the touch pad to have the guiding wind show you the way to your next location. The wind just naturally blows gently in that direction anyway. And fireflies seem to highlight things you can pick up from bodies

I think ign had a super helpful tip for standoffs, whenever you get into a standoff look at the opponents feet as soon as there feet move release triangle i know its how i have been doing standoffs since the beginning and i havnt failed one yet.

I used to do kendo and my sensai used to always say your opponents feet will tell you when they are about to strike. Love the detail in this game

The charm of inari at the arrow peak shrine is really helpful too. It pretty much doubles the amount of supplies, bamboo, yew wood, and hides you pick up.

Not all leaders can be observed. Just the ones training. Was freaking at how I was killing some leaders but couldn't observe them.

The chest re-spawn trick is faster if you "restart from checkpoint" after you grab the supplies. It places you a lot closer to the chest than fast travelling does. Great guide Jor!

I’ve gotten pretty far with the Traveler only being at two.. but since seeing this I’ll focus more on it now .. I’ve always alternated between different armors per need.. Ronin for quiet sneak ups .. Sakai for heavy battles .. travelers for grave yards trying to find records .. etc .. love this game.. 3 games I’ve played non stop the last couple months .. Ghost, Maneater, and Last of us 2.. all stellar

If your wanting to make the dojo outpost easier do the warriors code mission first to unlock stealth kills and focus hearing makes scouting the area alot easier if you enjoy the stealth elements do this mission first then do the dojo either way is fine

Thx for the guide JorRaptor, You can actually fast travel from "Travellers rest inn" to "Old trading post" (just south west) for a second Steel bar in the Chest in the tent, and thus fast travel between these two camps for 2 steel bars every round.

LOVE THIS GAME! The first 3 bears i encountered one shot me though =/ Love how the bear just tosses me after it kills me and the Mongrols kick the crap out of you, cut your throat. you really wanna visit as much hot springs and bamboo strikes as possible before finishing the game in order to have a lot of resolve and health, i personally finish every bamboo strike and hot spring in that region before advancing to another one. you can find them a lot easier too by getting the wind of resolve and the wind of health techniques.

Fore anyone who wants to skip the first part which is going around and climbing up to get to that tent,theres a gap in the fence right behind that giant bush when you first start going right. You can jump through that and be where the tents are and go from there Edit: forgot to mention when you jump through you have to hold foward the entire time other wise you will get stuck and the game will reset your position

first get the wind stance, cause one of the skills you get is that u can parry unblockable attacks (only with the spear enemy ) without parrying jut attack when it flashes red and Jin will parry their attack

I recommend getting the wind guide that let's you know where the foxes are so you can unlock all the charm slots early on and gain the benefit of multiple charms for more of the game

It's the best ever game I have played so far. I have completed the full game including all story missions, additional side missions & villagers missions. Unlocked and make all full upgrades. Now I restarted the game 2nd time in hard mode difficulty level

Great tips, I would say if you're trying to farm supplies to go pick up the Charm of Inari from Arrow Peak Shrine. It won't double what you're getting from the Ship Yard run but it will definitely boost it by a large amount. Doubt I'll un-equip that charm for the rest of the game.

Using this charm, I upgraded everything possible to max (except quest locked resources- silk/gold) before leaving the first act very quickly. Had enough to upgrade the rest of the unlockables for the second act immediately after unlocking them.
