This game inspired me to give Wildlands a second playthrough, on the hardest difficulty with HUD elements removed it’s quite an enjoyable quasi realistic tactical shooter. Quite a shame we won’t be getting another like it so it seems

Speaking from experience, you made the right choice dude. My connection drops out from time-to-time and in Wildlands, this wasn't an issue. In Breakpoint, I'm booted out of the game if my router so much as sneezes. I just wish I hadn't played so much, I'd refund this piece of garbage in a heartbeat if I could.

Mack should revisit this game. They updated it, and they just made options to remove the looter elements and drones so most of the features Mack is complaining about can be removed. Now it plays a lot more like Wildlands and honestly I'm having a blast. The story is better than Wildlands IMO. I bought it on sale for $20 and I'm quite happy with my purchase.

I do agree with all your points! I did buy the game for one single point only and that is to explore the game map ( the Witcher world and forza horizon 4 is a work of art. ) i did the same with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey ( that game was surprisingly even better than i did expect). I like playing those games with max settings and 4K and i dont mind ~40 FPS in those games. I explore the world, take ingame pictures, play it on max difficulty. So far for me, i like the game for that and i do enjoy it :).
