This could of been great. What does it mean to be child of a hero? Whats it like to grow up in the shadow of someone who acheived something great? Thats an idea to build a story around. A self identy story about the children of a action hero who killed lots of people. Growing up knowing your father killed lots of people. The real scary part is that some people actually had to sit down and brain storm the idea of having guns that only fire Square icon ammo and guns that only fire stripe icon ammo and then need to be fired at enemies with corresponding icons on their health bar in order to do good damage. I mean how the hell did that get passed as a good idea in a fast paced FPS like this and then if that was not bad enough, lets add levels and put high level enemies in low level maps that can one shot you. I mean yeah I took the piss out of the political decisions in this game for a laugh but my oath, them gun play decisions are diabolical and totally ruined the game, it's Wolfenstein by name only.

They were too busy with thinking out the political stuff and how to make you play as degenerates and make the youngsters feel like its normal to behave like this. Then they slapped some gameplay over it and instead of making interesting unique levels(which would take effort), they added this shite rpg system, which was much easier to implement while ticking the box of adding "depth" to the game.

Pretty much yeah the average Wehrmacht soldier in France had around a 5:1 K/D rate (probably at least 4 times that if they were a machinegunner at Normandy beach) so they were not to be taken lightly. It's easy to forget that when you are gunning them down by the thousands in games like this.

Gillettes recent "It was worth it." comment gives insight in to the mindset of these corporations, or more specifically the people who own them. Gillette lost billions of dollars this past year, yet claimed it was worth it. What kind of company claims losing money is worth it? Unless of course, what they traded for was worth more value in their eyes. The corporate share-holders have an agenda, and they are fine sacrificing billions of dollars to push it. And to them it doesn't matter if a company goes broke. They can just sell their shares before it tanks and buy more in a new one. Or in the case of the big three gaming publishers, buy up new studios.

They should've made it so that playing single player was a completely different experience. They should've followed on the theme from previous games, where whichever daughter you picked to play as (one would be the stealthy assassin, the other a gung-ho tank), you'd see your sister killed near the start of the game. From there you'd have a rip-roaring tale of revenge with the surviving daughter tearing Nazi ass while being able to dive into the loss and grief of trying to find her dad, producing some powerful moments as she tries to tries to rescue him from the bowels of the Nazi machine. Her mother would be on the radio, struggling not to act like her mother while being stern in giving her mission objectives and telling her what she has to do all the time. Co-op should've been either fellow resistance characters or even the hallucination of your sister joining in the fight. Your character would only realise they were alone during cutscenes that would change after finishing the level in co-op, like the twist in Sixth Sense or something. The player character doesn't realise how potent the Jewish super-suit makes them, so they believe their sister must have been there to help them gun down a train station full of Nazis. So much potential, squandered.

Chainsawing demons and possessed humans left and right; impaling heads with his new arm-blade; snapping the arm of a demon and impaling it's head with the shattered bone from it's own broken arm; ripping out the eyeball of Pain Elementals; ripping the heart out of Mancubi and shoving down their throat; stabbing an Arachnotron in the eye with one of it's own spider limbs; etc, etc, etc.... How does Doom Eternal look tame? Not trying to argue btw. I'm honestly extremely confused how someone can say that Doom Eternal looks tame.
