Here's something interesting to look at. The Extranjeros BFG has almost no drop at 400m, and around 430m you only have to aim at the bottom of the center red crosshairs.

Satan you have to aim at the first notch at around 800m, I never realized it and I only used the normal bfg because it does more vehicle damage.

Yeah i use that gun with gernade launcher, suppressor, that stock, range finder, the exp scope?, and biggest mag.. I love how the suppressor works on the gernade laumcher

I still use angled grips on assault rifles because I'd rather have more vertical recoil than any horizontal recoil.

Wow. Good, simple vid and useful info since the handling stat needs a few sub categories to actually be useful info. The bit about shorter barrels reducing recoil is as backwards and counter intuitive as suppressors reducing damage (pronounced "velocity", irl) when compared to real world weapons. I don't play the pve often, but I wouldn't have thought to use a shorter barrel to reduce recoil. It's something I'll keep in mind when I do pve. The weapons being pre configured in pvp probably saved me from increasing my recoil with Ubi's backwards barrel mechanics, in relation to recoil. It's nice to hear they did get bullet drop correct barrel length, though.

I think mobility and recoil fall underneath the handling stat Mobility is how fast you move with the weapon and how fast you can aim down sights recoil is kind of self-explanatory. I think this is why equipping a folded butt stock makes handling go up

Guys put Shift Short Angled Grip on your LMG's. It helps do much with the recoil. I swear.

hard to control recoil with contoller compared to mouse but ive founded a way after playing borderlands 2 and far cry... by controlling horizontal recoil with strafing movement and just pulling the camera down for vertical... Mellon Head Method

I swear scopes affect recoil. My russ red dot plus magnifier recoils more than if I use the micro t1 or the panoramic

But u so get a short range, near SMG weapon from the long range too weapon... I don't want sacrifice the accuracy and the range - if I begin to target the chest then my series ends with the head (and hasn't horizontal diversion = missing shoot). If 3-4 bullets kill the enemy, then i don't want the all magazine shoot in one point...

Dark i tried testing recoil myself and apparently accuracy reduces horizontal recoil and handling reduces vertical recoil, can you check on this? Edit: which guns are good with angled grips and which guns are good with the vertical foregrips?

Stranger 2u A review? It’s a glitched gun that has an immense amount of extra damage to it. It one shots all vehicles except the APC, and takes that down in like 3. We know it’s glitched because the regular SR25 has nowhere even remotely close to that amount of damage.

It might at range, but that'd be so difficult to test, as I alluded to in the video, and it's because I'd have to figure in the damage drop-off at range that would come into play, and that's the range stat we believe, not the damage stat. I'm going to try though.

Braden Jones that's the thing. You really can't test that because long barrels drop off too. and that's the range stat doing that, so you really can't tell if it's the damage or the range that's causing what dropoff in damage. i plan to try to find a way to seperate the two and see.

Darkdally I tested both at the same range/environment and the shots to kill were very consistent... I tested each gun in the game for shots to kill for about 15 minutes each, counting the shots it took. Granted, I only tested the long to short on a couple, but I got very consistent results. Sure there was maybe 20-30 meter variations at times, but it did not change the results I got. My biggest problem with the test you conducted was the fact you tested the long barrel on unidad and the short on unarmored rebels

To address your statement about drop off I tested this from point blank range to maybe a little more than 70 meters... the shots to kill were the same throughout. Drop off may start after that though, and you may get different results with Santa Blanca soldiers

No, I used a vertical grip. I used the v4. The angled grips are never the best choice for an assault rifle.

O-5 Administrator [REDACTED] there are two angled grips on the game, one is just called AFG and it is much more angled than the v4 vert grip, and the other is the short shift angled grip which is basically a smaller angled grip. Pause at 4:38 to see them.

Nathan White When you put on a lazer sight,your hipfire accuracy increase,and when you add nore and more weight to your front barrel,the vertical recoil will decrease,the random spread only affected by the grip,buttstock and muzzle devices.

Dude. Accuracy is very important. Handling reduces vertical recoil, accuracy reduces horizontal recoil. Vertical recoil can easily be negated, while horizontal recoil fucks up your aim. This guide is wrong
