I was on a cruise with my wife. I woke up when someone knocked on the door with 2 loud and insistent raps. Looking into the dim light of the corridor (some light coming in from under the closed bathroom door, where the light was on), I saw the silhouette of a man. Staring in disbelief, I kept thinking this is just a trick of light and shadow but continued viewing made it ever clearer that somebody was indeed there. Finally I shot my hand out and flicked on the bedside light. In the fullness of light nobody was there. At that very moment I believed it was just a hypnagogic dream in the stage between wakefulness and sleep but much to my surprise my wife asked "did you see that?". I asked her "what did you see?" and she proceeded to tell me she had seen the silhouette of a man after she was woken by the knock at the door. We then switched the light off to see if there was in fact a shadow or trick of the light that would explain what we saw; but, there was nothing in the hall that would explain what we had BOTH witnessed?

I used to be a little scared of the dark so I'd have my dog sleep in my bed with me. The two times I had an experience (1 I saw a dark figure leaning out of my closet which I always kept closed, and the other I was lifted off my bed so only my shoulder blades were touching the bed - meaning I can't physically do that) my dog would BOLT out of the room. If I saw something and he didn't move, I didn't either cause I know animals are more sensitive to the spiritual real. But when my dog would react - dude I'd be prayyyyyying. This was before I got saved and was into some dark stuff, just real lost. After I got saved I never had another experience (praise Jesus), but I always know it was real - that something was in my room because my dog would flip out - he saw it too.

Lol, I have a similar story but instead of it being a toilet paper roll slightly moving it was a hairbrush being full on thrown across the bathroom while I was taking a piss. My friends and I had been playing a ouija board a few days prior in the same bathroom so I'm sure it was without a doubt something in his case. I am a total believer now because of the experience I had when I was 14. I was completely sober btw and my friend heard the brush hit the wall while she was in the living room.
