Hi - I'm yet another nameless ghoulette who is a part of Emeritus, Southern California's tribute band to Ghost. I play the keyboard, but I also play a couple of other instruments on the side!

How are some people SO FAST to create covers of brand new songs???

I spent my whole life learning music by ear so it comes very naturally to me now haha, it’s all about having a deep understanding of the genres and their clichés so you can kinda predict what’s gonna happen. Example would be structure (intro > verse > pre chorus > chorus > etc.) or chord progression (“6 4 1 5” which Ghost uses in many songs like this one, Dance Macabre, Mary On A Cross, Spillways, Griftwood, etc.)

Omggg this is amazing, I love it. When my neighbour goes on holidays I am allowed to play her ukes (normal and baritone) and I have a line up of ghost songs to play (we play a couple together like Mary on a cross and dance macabre) so I’m really excited to play this
