@@MissyTheStinky I usually use blending modes on my layers, multiply for shadows and either colour dodge or overlay for highlights. also helps to know where you want your light source coming from. In this case i had it come from behind the dinosaur, so only the edges of his back were mainly highlighted. i also wouldn't use super dark colours for shadows mainly somewhere in the middle or more grey in the pallet if that makes sense :>
