I also loved when Elena said: “I won’t love a ghost for the rest of my life.” It’s such a good line for so many reasons. I also enjoy how Damon and Alaric made up and are friends again, best friendship in the show. Pearl and Anna reuniting to find peace was such a beautiful scene that makes me cry every time.

Jeremy knows that Anna is gone and she is nothing but a ghost. it was time for him to move on from her and they both knew that. he never got to properly grieve Anna and she abruptly died. Jeremy has to start living his life, and can't be held back with the past.

The thing with Jeremy and Anna is that she's not just 'his ex' that he's still hung up on, they were in love and she died. So even though he's fallen for Bonnie, those feelings don't just go away quickly, it's only been a handful of months since it happened. It's difficult and complicated and I hate that Bonnie's always the one getting hurt, but I completely understand Jeremy's actions. To be able to see and touch a loved one who was ripped away from you, I'll never understand how any viewer could be mad at Jeremy for taking what could be the only moments he's going to get to have with her. I can understand Bonnie being upset of course, but honestly as someone who has lost people who I would give anything to be able to talk to one more time, I would forgive him because I wouldn't hesitate to have done the exact same thing.

Lexi was doing a vampire head dive. Like when Damon gave Rose the happy dream before he killed her or when Katherine made Stefan see them sleeping together. They use it a few more times in future episodes. Lexi made him feel like he’d been without blood for that long to break him down to get to his emotions. He wasn’t actually as starving as he felt.

The Lexi mind thing did make sense similar to how Damon was able to get inside Rose’s head and Elena’s dreams earlier in the series. Lexi is older/stronger than both Damon and Stefan so her being able to fast forward his starvation in his mind makes sense, I just wish we saw other older vampires do it later in the series.

Regardless of the ghost stuff, Jeremy doing all that is the clearest way of him saying: "I am not over my ex and if I could I would choose them over you" - so yeah, regardless of Anna being a ghost, the message is clear and once you realize that you are just a cheap stand-in to the other person, you DIP OUT.

I know a bunch of comments already covered it but Lexi was just in Stefan's head. Vampires can get into the minds of other vampires and humans if they're asleep or weak enough. And Lexi in particular is very skilled at this especially with Stefan. She was making him hallucinate and believe that he was without blood for that long. The scene with his hands actually desiccating wasn't real it was just what he was "seeing".

This episode is one of my highlights. Absolutely love that they brought back so many characters, especially my girl Lexi ❤ The fact that Anna was able to reunite with her mother gets me every single time. I've thought a lot about the answer to how Lexi was doing that, because "She can get in his head" is the most inefficient explanation yet it's all anyone can say. Here's what I think: When she says she's making Stefan feel like he's going months and years without blood, she means without human blood, not ALL blood. Because if he felt, in that moment, like he was becoming dessicated, he'd just be sitting there all lethargic and thirsty. Lexi helped him dry out before and they spent decades getting him to a good-ish place managing his addiction. So Stefan already knows what this feels like. Which means, all Lexi is doing here is taking him on a walk down memory lane. She isn't fast-forwarding time in his mind, or making him think about the future (like her "explanation" to Elena made it sound like). Neither of those are things we've seen vampires do, it has always been memories or in-the-moment conversations, unless I'm forgetting something? So yeah, even though Lexi is using it in a very different way than we usually see it used, it's the same power the other vampires have. Hopefully that makes more sense, because this has always confused me too. 🙏❤️

I do love Mason, I love his character, and I saw him years ago watching Chicago Fire, which is one of my favorite series along with the three Chicago sagas, you should see them, they're too good series. But when I saw him in the Vampire Diaries, surprised me and I said "Oh my god it's the one from Chicago Fire, it's Kelly Severide my crush" and from there I started to love his character more because he always took care of Tyler and that's why I love him more❤😍It made me laugh a lot because you told Zuf that Jeremy cheated on Bonnie with Anna and he said no, but the truth is that he did, and I'm with you two on that because yes, Jeremy cheated on Bonnie and well I laughed a lot with their reactions😂✨

The necklace....that not very long ago.....meant so much to Stefan and Elena . Whatever happened to them ?? A couple of episodes ago ,Elena barely gave it a glance when Damon tried to give it to her, saying he had stolen it back for her. She never, ever wears that necklace again , if I remember correctly. And here ,when Lexie tries to remind Stefan of what that necklace represented to him and Elena .... he brushes it off. Wonder why !!

I dont really get the hype about Lexie helping Stefan with his blood lust. In what way did she help him? I mean , he spent 20, 30 years trying to get his life back together after she had supposedly helped him during his last ripper binge That doesn't really sound like she had been of any help at all if it took decades for him. And the only way he's been avoiding another ripper outbreak is by forgoing human blood and being on a strict bunny diet. So ya....all this talk of her helping Stefan overcome his addiction is just 🙄🙄.
