Another great episode. I really enjoyed this episode, as I go to Eureka every year. Actually I enjoy every one of your episodes. I feel like I can relate so much to the former mayor. I hear his words and I feel like that is what I feel and experience every time I go to Eureka. Thanks again for such a great program.

Eureka is such an amazing little town and I love your video on it here 😀 . Did you meet Crazy Mary? She's a beautiful character who calls the town home 🏡

Neat video, thanks! We had family who mined out there and my grandma was born while her parents lived in Silver City just around the hill going west from Eureka. They ended up moving the house to Payson after the mining slowed down.

I remember seeing the huge hole in the ground where a house used to be and that house just fell into the huge hole in the ground that was pretty close by the side of the highway. From what I remember of the story .The people that lived in the house heard noises that convinced them to get out of the house before the ground gave way. I'm pretty sure they weren't yelling Eureka when their house fell into that huge hole in the ground. The entire town of Eureka and much of the surrounding area as I understand is built over all sorts of mining tunnels and vertical shafts!!!!

I really enjoyed visiting and making a KZbin video on Eureka a little over a year ago. I love your narrations sir! Too bad you didn’t interview Old Mr. Lyle in the Tintic Mining Museum. He’s a real hoot!

My great grandpa lived there i always remember going there and visiting him.
My grandparents' snd later uncle's house was at 144 Main Street. William Treloar was my grandfather and Don Treloar was my uncle. I think they both served as mayor at one point?

Throw rocks at jack rabbits? I went to this town searching for a place to hunt rabbits and I never came across any at all. Any place south of Tooele I'd think would be a good place to hunt for rabbits, but I didn't have any luck at all unfortunately.
