I just realized that ive never watched a channel grow from the beginning, or near the beginning. I mean growth in quality, not metrics. Seeing that growth makes the content even more appreciated, and also reminds me that everyone starts somewhere. Whether its a youtube channel or a 9-5. In the world of social media, its easy to forget that, and only see the massive success of others, which seems way out of reach. The growth is more realistic, more tangible, more inspiring. Its also beautiful watching someone doing what they enjoy, the passion is infectious. Honestly im only somewhat interested in the TGC games, mostly because of nostalgia, and your style of videos isnt of the style i typically watch. Yet here i am, watching all of your videos. Maybe ill move on someday and not watch your channel as often, but i wont forget the experience. Sometimes its the most random things that restore your faith in the human spirit.

It absolutely can be discouraging seeing other channels grow faster and in less time than me but yeah, I’ve learned to not let that deter me from putting my all into it. I really almost quit after making my Metroid videos but then I tried something new and made that Parasect only TCG video and thanks to Mah-Dry-Bread, it completely re-energized my motivation. Nidoqueen in the TCG has an attack called Boyfriends, that increases power based on the amount of Nidoking you have on bench. Challenge is to beat the TCG using that power only, and see how Nidoqueen's milkshake brings the Nidokings to the yard~ But yeah, this is just an idea, and I'm looking forward to further Paraspectives in Gen3 or Rescue Dungeon series! Trivia time! The game has a set number of how many energies to put on each Pokémon in each battle. For example, AI wouldn't put more than 2 energies on Chansey because it is set that AI should put a maximum of 2 energies on it, lest it knocks itself out in the process.

I had a deck that was the 50 HP Gastly, 50 HP Haunter with Gengar and NO PSYCHIC Energy. Because I had Growl/Thundershock Promo Pikachus and Gigashock Raichu. Simply called The Gigacurse, the goal was to gain 4 Prizes in 1 turn with careful HP manipulation and Gigashock. Good times.

I was inspired by your videos and did a full eeveelution playthrough. Pretty easy but enjoyable. Only fighting gave me any trouble. If I didn't go first it'd be 40 damage turn one from a machop or hitmonchan 😑 4 eevee and 2 of each evolution. Give it a try!

That Gengar card is so fun. I played a deck using it, Alakazam (who can move damage counters on opponents) and the GB Meowth (20 to a random benched pokemon) for an absolute bench destruction deck. It worked VERY well against this game's AI.

I COULD do a legendary run but I’d either have to beat all of the Club Masters again on a completed game or play a mod where I start with all of the cards. Both are doable, but I’ve stuck with fresh starts on the standard game so far.

Hey do you happen to know if Gastly's Destiny Bond knocks out either Gengar using Curse on it or Zapdos hitting it with Peal of Thunder? To my knowledge those are the only instances of receiving damage from pokemon on the bench.

I've used fossil Haunter to put the op to sleep, if they wake up, then the transparency could help avoid a return attack. If the op stays asleep the fossil Haunter has free retreat so the bring in base Haunter to hit for the 50.

Question, does a pokemon have to attack each turn? Say 30hp gastly gets put in after your active dies. They used their Charizard. Now you use destiny bond and they go. Do they one shot your ghastly/ retreat/ or can they just not attack?

Yeah you can just end your turn. Destiny Bond really is pretty avoidable

I predict pain for having only 12 pokemon and some mysterious fossils. If I recall correctly, you at least have the advantage of not being weak to anything, not being resisted, and psychic being a common weakness in three clubs. Idea for a challenge: ban trainer cards and evolution. You can only have basic pokemon and energies, but only one of each pokemon. You may have ONE mysterious fossil. Call it the Basic Bitch challenge. Okay, pre video comment over, gonna watch now. Edit: man, I completely spaced that colorless resists psychic. Edit: FOUR clubs have a psychic weakness, I forgot the rock medal. Lab, psychic, fighting, and rock. Man, ghosts are kinda OP in this game.

It is indeed possible. Did it a few times myself. just stick with cards that don't need specific energys and/or just one of a type and fill with energy search etc. Only the "elite 4" need some luck. Needed a few tryes but if you win at the end it's such a satisfying feeling.
