Fadeouts can be lazy, but to me it seems like when Ghost uses one, it's for narrative purposes, in this case humanity searching for divinity with its advanced technology, and the search goes on and on, never getting closure

It's also the last song on side A of the vinyl. Both Watcher and Respite fade out because they're the end of their specific side.

One of my favorite song so far from the whole album , I’m still hesitate a little bit if buy it or not the vinyl version album … but I will only because of this song , the riffs , the sound , the vocals the lyrics. Everything in this song is pure perfection . Remains me a little bit of a soundtrack from those 80s science fiction movies from John carpenter . I think Tobias is not so bad after all . I listen this song over and over again is so good . This song has a lot influence from bands like : quiet riot , Dokken , skid row , Ratt , great white, Motley Crue , and Europe . I think Tobias not only create a terrific song but also he create a authentic masterpiece that will last from many , many years . So saying this : Watcher in the sky is a wonderful heavy song from The Whole band . I love it

I got it on vinyl and it's great. Whoever he got to produce the records did an awesome job, one of the better sounding records I've heard in a while. This will vary some of course but mine has very few pops and clicks, it sounds almost CD like in terms of how clean it is. And yeah, the booklet that comes with it is nice.

First time I heard WITS I was blown away - very much 80's influenced and Prog at the same time, Tobias is really a guy that grew up listening to classic metal, can hear a lot of influences in his music. All of this stuff is heavy and yet melodic which makes it so good., the guitar in this song is dirty and the harmony lead is so good almost maiden'esq bass line is right there and the song just has great punch to it - it needs to be cranked... Spillways is just as good - another great album

Spot on with the Dokken reference. Also reminded me a bit of Vinnie Vincent's Invasion, if you remember them?! Proper 80s hair metal revival on this one! Not sure what's wrong with fadeouts tbh...if the song demands it, don't fight it! Anyway, this is the standout track of the whole album for me...sensational from start to faded-out finish!

They released the wrong tracks as singles. They should be "Watcher in the Sky", "Spillways" (I love it), "Imperium/Kaisarion", "Respite on the Spitalfields" and "Griftwood" (that piano breakdown, come on) as well. "Call me Little Sunshine" is a great track but maybe not as a single (and not with that video). "Darkness at the Heart of my Love" is also single material if you ask me. So basically all the tracks except for what they released. : )
