I know, he rolls his r's. It is so weird when I start mowing the grass this song pops into my head right away. Also that "Heil SATAN" sounds like SATIN. My family is very Churchy, I have NO idea what they'd do IF they saw me sing "Hail Satan, archangelo!" Surely, they just would NOT understand, that is putting it mildly. I am an adult though, so, yeah, I am what I am, and really, I am a person that would not ever harm anyone. I say you "gotta be cruel to be kind" meaning you just can't be all sweetness and love all the time, sometimes you HAVE to be a bit imperfect and maybe listen to some rock music and it will at least I think for me, it "balance me out". Hell, back when me and my sister were teenagers in the 80's my parents and the church we went to convinced us to burn many of our metal records, it is a good thing that we actually would have had to end up buying CD;s anyway, BUT, I do wish I could have kept some albumns anyway. But, yeah, albumns were replaced by CD's anyway, so, no big deal. MY first albumn was Iron maiden's "Maiden Japan" I actually bought it at about age 12 or 13 because I saw the cover artwork of "Eddie" with a big Japanese sword in his hands and he was posing really "cool" with it. I bought it and I had put it in the back of my leather jacket and my parents didn't know it was there since it was on the back of me and I had on my leather jacket, so it hadn't been sticking out, I zipped up my jacket and they had NO idea, my sister hid it in her room. BUT, once the church had been hammering us all about the "devil worshipping" bullcrap we had eventually succumbed to pressure and had given up some of our albumns. I now know better, those SOB's that wanted us to burn our music were out screwing whores and doing more evil that most would have ever believed, they'd swindle and old poor lady out of her last few bucks on TV. BUT, as I have said at LEAST we really did have to replace those albumns with CD;s now anyway, I mean,. IF I wanna hear 80's music from say DIO, I can't play that LP in my car, can I, NOPE. I am glad that I did save a Metallica record that was NOT an LP BUT it is a special record, a Gold colored one with "Am I evil" and maybe another song on 1 side and then, "Blitskreig" and MAYBE another song on the other side. Anyway, with age I have learned that I at least NEED some metal and music like Ghost to balance me out, we can't all be MUSHY all the freakin time.

J. Moose he only hires people to play. I think he was an ass for firing them though.
@zacharytomes52027 жыл бұрын
맨슨지민 Nah thats a lie, not to spoil things, but the ghouls were all in a band(band #2), that papa (whom was in a band with Alpha, Omega, and the drummer before band #2) joined when his band didnt do well, the ghouls band wasnt getting anywhere, so papa joined in band #2 on bass, and they eventually got to work on band #3, Ghost. The drummer (Omegas brother) didnt stay long, and the bassists changed a lot because the first few didn't have stage presence, or chemistry with the rest of the band. The founding band members (Papa, omega, Alpha, and Mr.Keyboard bro) kept at it from day one, until the recent firing. All members took part in song writing, riff writing, stage ideas, etc, as the band was a conjuring of all sorts of interests. (I mean they were all buddies, so they had good chemisty)

THIS IS the best GHost performance ever right here. It is about 4 years old, BUT, It is the best lineup of Ghost and it is so damn good, it has Omega in it, he is the GHoul that uses his footwork to stand out, BUT, maybe YOU won't see when he does stand out, so, I will mention it, okay?

I used to work concert security here in Southern Cali for a place called CSC, like most guys I did it to get into stage areas for concerts like Ozzfest and shit like that.. most of the dudes were bigger older black guys that listened to hip hop and they hated this shit with a passion. They partnered me up one time with a huge black dude who actually really dug the music though and we worked backstage & he told me tons of stories about purposefully trying to intimidate some of the metal bands just for giggles.. he said he made David Draiman sweat a little by pretending not to know who he was .. that shit made my day.
@oshi45425 жыл бұрын
You ever noticed the ghoul on the black guitar mimics the body movement of a goat or horse with the stomps and the way he holds his leg while doing a solo. Nice touch

I find many of his songs leaving me with a feeling of deja vu, like some deep cut song I forgot about but loved as a teen in the 80's.

Fifty-three here, punk has always been my main thing (since I was eleven!) but love other stuff too, and Ghost is the best newer band I've "found" in decades. Just unbelievably great. "Prequelle" is a masterpiece, and their older material is incredible. Seeing them in three days here in Brooklyn - VERY psyched!
