Perhaps. Hear me out, plz; “Amygdala’s Rag Doll” is the story of a young boy accidentally starting a horrible house fire, where all his family perished and he personally suffered intense injuries. Even after being rescued and restored of his charred skin, he was trapped in terrible physical and mental problems, such as his skin burning so bad that he viewed the burned areas as stitched rags, whilst his injuries were restored a little while later, he only saw the holes caused by the many cauterisations he had whilst the doctors were fixing his non-burn injuries. The boy continued to believe he was a rag doll, due to how his burned areas were stitched together and had tons of “holes”. Not just that, due to all the smoke inhalation, his lungs were in horrible shape and he felt he couldn’t breathe anymore because it was such a struggle to do so, in which only fed into the delusion he wasn’t human. After the traumatic experience, the combination of his guilt complex and his PTSD, he labelled himself as the world-hating “trypo-puppeteer” for causing the fire that ‘killed’ him and killed his family. As the boy further fell into the delusion he told himself, he begun losing memories of his beloved family and his PSTD engulfed the entirety of his psychological state… like a larvae, till nothing remained but a self-hating, physically and mentally scorched young boy, who views himself as a lifeless Ragdoll

His Amygdala is acting out "twenty-four" meaning non-stop, 24/7. • "From losing my autonomy, a mutilated part of me" lack of autonomy, taken away by his Amygdala • "From the mouth of the cauterized rag doll..." He sounds like he's closing wounds with fire. • "Supplications to leave him alone" Either begging to himself or his mind to stop • "Throw the nails away and leave him alone" The wounds I mentioned before feel like self-caused ones caused by a skin picking disorder, hence the holes. I feel like this song is about having an anxiety attack after a traumatic experience you blame yourself for. "I can't exhale/inhale" - during panick attacks it's hard to breathe. It's also hard to breathe if you are crying for quite a while. "The guilt and me alone again" "I never meant any harm" - guilt of the traumatic experience. Or, guilt of attacking someone while having a panick attack in the past. "Swallow ichor" - swallow tears? And the "puppeteer". The puppeteer might be trauma and anxiety taking control of your life. "1, 2, 3" - counting to calm yourself down. The begging of the song starts slowly, creeply. Then it gets fast, hard to sing. Then it's almost chaotic. I think that the “ragdoll” is a metaphor that oliver has made for himself. Oliver is a regular boy who, unlike his peers, cannot control his emotions very well, and is very sensitive to insults or criticism. His parents find him weak and useless, as he does not behave like the other boys his age. He his parents attempt to fix him by being more rude and disrespectful, hoping that it will get him to toughen up. Oliver feels like he is being manipulated, and gets very stressed. This stress causes “holes,” or missing spots from his memory. He thinks of his parents as the “trypo-puppeteer,” because they control what he does and cause holes in his memory. One day, Oliver has enough, and begins emotionally manipulating his parents into feeling guilty for what they have done. He realizes how much power he has now, and begins to make his parents feel bad for everything they do. His parents figure out what he is doing, and start punishing him harder. They now have a genuine hate for oliver. His attempt to manipulate others around him causes the “holes” to grow larger and more frequent. He is now trapped in a cycle of fear and suffering. A bit late to this, but to me this song seems like a representation of C-PTSD, (complex post traumatic stress disorder) specifically childhood trauma. The constant talking about holes, is likely the missing pieces of somebody’s memory due to their brain hiding trauma. It quite literally says the holes are the missing memories from the line “Holes in my memory.” When you experience something traumatic enough to cause PTSD, your brain can’t process it properly as it would with other memories, and it may tried to hard the more extreme or “important” parts of the memory. This person’s specific trauma may have made them feel like a rag doll of some sorts, or a toy that people use to take their anger out. “Vexatious my amygdala” The amygdala is a part of the brain for processing emotions and memories, from the line it seems that he could be frustrated or fearful, and that he can’t control it. Somebody who has PTSD has heightened stress and anger.

So here’s my theory: Oliver is a doll that is used as an outlet for it’s owner’s anger. (Burning him, sticking nails through his hands, etc.) One day, the doll gains sentience and doesn’t understand why his owner keeps hurting him. The doll believes it is something that he did. (hence, “this has always been my fault.) And... that’s all I’ve got. Idk how accurate it is, or if I’m stating something that everyone already knew, but I’m here anyway.
