Thank you for the story! 20 years ago I was working at two pub sides from your tale. 4years at "The Coal Hole" in savoy building and three years at the Williamson's Tavern. Many times in the middle of the night, counting days takings or sleeping, waiting for Monday morning delivery. It was always really cold and spooky with suspicious souds coming from every corner. Sometimes ghostly aroma of lilies...

There's always been something about certain old Inns & Hotels in England, & whether it's just the sheer age of the buildings or if some past events are replaying from time to time, I can certainly attest to many strange feelings & sightings that leave me with an open mind.

Although I love ghost stories, I've always been on the fence when it comes to the paranormal. I fall into the "I'll believe it when I see it" category. 32 years so far, and nothing. One building however, that has always sent a chill down my spine is YHA St Paul's in the City area of London. The building was built to house choirboys from St. Paul's Cathedral in 1874, but is now a youth hostel. I can't find anything online about any hauntings, and I've never encountered anything on my numerous visits. But I must admit that walking the hallways at night, you never truly feel alone. There are 5-6 floors, no lifts and sometimes to access your room you have to walk up several different staircases (the building is quite maze like) some of which are very old, narrow and downright creepy. Even if no actual ghosts, the building most certainly has an interesting "energy" to it.

That was not a picture of Woolf. That was a picture of Paul Kruger, the president of the boer Republic, called the Transvaal. They, together with the Republic of the Orange Free State, fought the British during the Anglo-Boer War from 1899-1902.

Just to show how mean some " scientists " are, i just described my old ghostly encounter in France to a scientist with a great KZbin channel... he just deleted my comment and praised, gave many thumbs up to the ones who did not agreed my story, my honest description was all nonsense...is this a smart man ? even if he's a scientist ??? Tom.
@ghostcasebook126611 ай бұрын
That’s not very kind Tom. I mean, scientists are supposed to look at all the evidence / information they are presented with but that, frankly, sounds like a personal insult to you. That’s just bloody rude! 👻🙋♀️🙏
@tombaker458611 ай бұрын
@@ghostcasebook1266 it's like many scientists have a blind spot for everyone that witnessed the uncanny...they are certain you are a liar, you are not capable of recognizing what is happening...you are a moron. It is the same with big scientists, i love the famous Richard Dawkins because of his knowledge of Biology, but he is totally deaf and VERY insulting towards all persons presenting cases you just can't measure with the old rules of science..." The Uncanny " probably never came their way because it " senses " it wouldn't even be taken serious by these closed minds... but that's just my opinion, and more " open relaxed minds " are more inviting for strange events, very closed minds never encounter these " strange events " even when they get to be 100 y old.

I hear you Tom, for sure. Brian Cox is very dismissive too. Mr GC is a chemist and a skeptic but even he’s started to at least listen to other people’s thoughts and experiences including my own 👻🙋♀️🙏

All I hope is that you feel able to express yourself here. I generally have very tolerant viewers who may differ in opinions but still may just enjoy stories. Having said that, someone called me a satanist the other day because I used a pentagram in my Halloween video. If I’m a satanist, that’s news to me! 👻😁🙏🙋♀️
