Fortunately this kind of stuff usually doesn't last too long in NRS games, but I do find it funny that we have come full circle on Sektor's reset shenanigans. lol The most broken infinite in MK1's history is prob the Sindel + Sub-Zero infinite at the game's launch. Easy, meterless, very quick (opponent had little chance to build meter), and attached to a character that is already top tier without it.

I have never heard of someone being banned for infinites. Super has posted them in MK11 where they were true infinites cause it was grounded combos thus you could never breakaway. I think it should be spammed in kasuals for awareness. + Tweets to devs or official bug reports I usually let people know for the sake of deciding whether you wanna go into Kombat League knowing somebody could do this to you!

Jax still had a sorta infinite lol, I just didn't really mention it enough but essentially with ermac you can meterlessly launch with jax for true inescapeable vortexes (Peacemaker also had this) Essentially for Ermac you get a confirm off b24 or something but the thing is if you time your armor breaking string into float 4 on the same frame holding down doesn't work. Works off his true reset as well essentially the only condition is just frame the float 4 from his armor breaking string & it gives a true unblockable launcher. If you loop this about 2 times for most its usually around 90% in total assuming an initial combo into knockdown armor breaking string jax timed perfectly float 4 boom. It's a true reset as well so you just can keep doing it. cut your combo short for another reset? go ahead lol. Jax being able to gain meter as long as he is on screen is also broke XD makes ermac very resource efficient. The peacemaker stuff was forcefield allowed you to live inside the unblockable, everything played into the mindgame of f4string into antigravity gp if hit same frame it was a true combo no matter what even holding down because anti grav cancel could confirm, you could also stagger the timings to make it a living nightmare to play against.

Ghostface can do infinite with Sub as well. Just do your regular combo, and at the end when you restand your opponent with b3 add a freeze from subzero. After that, quickly make a knife cancel, and db3. Here you go, u have an infinite. I think this works even better with Sub and much easier. But to be honest, it makes this character 0 interest. Like his whole potential is dead, so I prefer to still play him with Mavado

At the very basic level, the infinite is done with: Sektor rocket, db3 amplified while switching to Assassin stance, b2 special cancelled into df1 knife toss CANCEL, then whatever fast starting button you want to start the next combo with. So I followed the knife toss cancel with 221+3 If you are doing it in a combo its b3 (restand) cancelled into db3 amp and you input the rocket as fast as possible after inputting the b3>db3 amp >part above^

A normal knife cancel combo, you amplify knife, and then after the first knife is thrown you hold down 1 (the delay button) and then dash forward or backward It’s the same as regular knife cancel you just do it after the first amplified knife is thrown

It’s not an intended combo. In a game like Valorant, bug abuse or exploit abuse in ranked is a bannable offense. So I just think it’s better safe than sorry to not use bugs/exploits in ranked play of any game!

I misspoke on it being an infinite, because you would run out of kameo gauge in that, but it’s is a combo reset that shouldn’t exist. So if you had unlimited resource it would 100% you cause it’s unblockable, can’t be armored, and you don’t get knocked down/can’t crouch.

The way I see it: Lots of people will use it, regardless of whether they hear it from me or see it on Twitter. More players doing it = a faster fix although I don’t encourage it. Also by letting you know it’s in the game, you can make a choice on whether you wanna go into ranked and risk running into a Ghostface hitting you with a reset infinite.

@@Diff that is a good argument. I guess my comment just comes from the place of being an old arcade player. Even though I knew how to do Johnny Cage's knee corner infinite and Sonya Blade's leg grab of infinite death I didn't use them nor would I show other players how. Mainly for two reasons. #1 that stuff always lead to fights because people felt you were cheating them out of half a dollar. #2 Because they were standing right next to me instead of being a nameless faceless victim on the internet I always tried to be the kind of player that I would like to play against. One that favors close matches over steamrolling and acts civil. Even now I don't teabag or talk shit. At 46 I can be flustrating enough to play. No sense rubbing it in.
