It was like 6 hours from when the cig was thrown out.

I'm her same age range (45) and her face is still holding up well, it's the obesity keeps the face features fuller longer, and she's not got much lines yet. rough skin and large pores her only face issue (objectively from a skin age point) but her BODY AGE. I can't imagine how her knees are, her hips. the bones don't get bigger. and she is too big for a knee or hip surgery...she is like a 60+ in terms of being fragile, any small injury at this point will be a disaster that maybe leaves her bedbound.

I've been vaping 12 years and haven't coughed or even had a cold since I quit smoking. Probably if you're coughing it's because you're vaping .50 salt nic . I vape .03% the lowest nic possible. I had some chest x-rays to look at my lungs from a vape study I've been in and doc said my lungs are fully healed from smoking and look like a person who has never smoked. I've actually been in vape study for 10 years and from the data collected from 10k people in the study the vapers health was equal to non-smokers and people who quit smoking and vaped 8-10 years the lungs are fully clear of all tar and any damage was healed with no adverse effects on the lungs from vaping. They want to continue the study for another 10 years. I'm very thankful that vaping was able to help me quit smoking. I'm sure it's added years back to my life. I started smoking at 13 quit at 41 , had vaping not been an option I'd still be smoking today and after seeing the x-rays and mri of my lungs I'm so glad I was able to quit my lungs were almost black from all the tar. Now they're nice and clean.

My personal experience- I was roughly a 1 1/2 pack a day smoker for YEARS and I started smoking regularly when I was about 15. I was about 37 when I had to quit because I started waking up at 3/4 am coughing up a lung and it wouldn't stop for about an hour and half. I switched to vaping (Juul) and I don't cough at all anymore aside from the occasional seasonal allergies (42 now). Doc always says my lungs sound good and clear and he knows I vape nicotine AND thc.
