An extended unscripted discussion on why I still enjoy Ghost Recon Wildlands, getting into more of my thoughts, discussing a little Breakpoint too in there, kind of a mixed bag discussion I'd say. Just wanted to get some chats going! This was supposed to be uploaded a few days ago but I am very busy atm. Please share your thoughts about the things you like/dislike, trying to drive discussion to help shape the future of the series. Perhaps devs will see what we all have to say and learn from it! I don't advertise it enough but maybe this pinned comment will help but be sure to join us on Discord too, been building that up!

I miss the 16 player co-op missions we use to play on GRAW2 multiplayer. Punishing health system, map with grid reference, breaking up into 4 squads each with 4 guys. Hardest difficulty, no drones, 15 minutes, no HUD, limited weapons/camo of certain nationalities if we wanted to play UK,US, French, German, Russian. There was a stealth system on it and get through the missions without killing an enemy. 75+ enemies rendered in from the beginning. Then it's just gone downhill from Future Soldier which wasn't the original game we were meant to play. These days, I have found myself trying to recreate the experience on Arma 3.

Wildlands has the story and world building. Breakpoint has the combat mechanics Ubisoft gets this in their head, the next GR will be spectacular
@sorinturle45993 ай бұрын
The world building is a matter of taste. It is true, the world in Wildlands is stunning depicted, is immersive, is what you can see in real life normally etc. Also, some poople like clasic type o buildings, of houses, of interiors etc. On the other side, i'm crazy about modern architecture, the buldings may be a combination of prismatic parts, or a fancy architecture, but clean, modern, much light, much space, much glass, big windows, in interior very modernist, there a high tech lab, over there a modern parking lot, there flying drones, up on the roof a line of solar panels and so on. Also, when you are in the helicopter like 1000 meters altitude,, the view in Wildlands is great, with all those locations, natural environment an so on, but i find the BP view great as well. For example those 3 or 4 modern energy farms in Fen Bong, or the more than gorgeous view of the Skell Security Operational Center in Infinity. Practically if you ask me if i would like to live in a location like Auroa, the answer would be more than definetly "yes!...starting with yesterday!". I believe overall, Wildlands is a better game, but the difference is bigger in perception that in the reality. Wildlands was first, was very good, and then the expectations for the next were probably higher.

Co-op is cool but, it has a tendency to take too long to get prepared and complete missions. When you have a full time job and a family, playing with bots is more convenient. But, the AI definitely needs enhanced.

so true, probably one of the few weak points of the game. You take a shot from 300m away in the trees and 4 seconds later you're getting pounded by mortar fire which is so unrealistic
@zb34858 ай бұрын
turning off dots above enemies and minimap makes this game incredible (on extreme)...just wow - the experience of taking over some outpost, mortars firing all around you...enemies closing in from all sides, your teammates holding the position...and then you finally make it, and get rewarded by 5 skill points or whatnot...if the game was a little more serious story-wise, it would be perfect

Wildlands is truly ome of a kind for me, I always enjoyed Ghost Recon games, but Wildlands was when I truly got into the series, over 200 hours in the Game and Ive loved every second of it, whether I'm raiding supply convoys in a Helicopter, Assaulting bases under cover of night with suppressed SMGs, Doing an Aquatic entrance for a raid on a location, lining up that perfect Sync Shot kill to get an easy quad, defending a radio holding down the fire button on an LMG, or just going in a ride in a Helicopter in the Bolivian night sky without NODS on and take in the pretty lights on the ground. This game is special and I'll probably still be playing for the rest of my life, it just never gets old for me

Damn shame you never got to enjoy Ghost Recon 2, that game's multiplayer was outstanding and highly addictive. I spent almost 2 years playing that exclusively until Splintercell Chaos Theory released with it's multiplayer. Then eventually Rainbow Six Black Arrow and after that Lockdown released, I was all in on those. I miss those days of amazingly addictive multiplayer tactical military games with zero incentive to play other than the games being fkn fun as hell and also having a solid ranking system. Socom 2, Socom Confrontation, Rainbow Six 3/Black Arrow/Lockdown, Ghost Recon 2/Advanced Warfare, Splintercell Pandora Tomorrow/Chaos Theory Spies vs Mercenaries mode, and then Black Ops 1 (not really the same genre but it seems to me that was the end of that era of tactical military MP games).

I still play Wildlands to this minute for two reasons, the first because of the different ways it can be played, and how that game play can change as the enemies escalate how they react to the ghosts, the second, because much like Red Dead Redemption, I simply want to explore and 'visit' the world because it's beautiful, I have played Wildlands for hours, just moving through the wonderful landscape(s), I have many games that have massive maps, but Wildlands and the original Red Dead are the only two that I visit often to enjoy and relax in.
@ryanhermansen89112 жыл бұрын
I remember the primary criticism Wildlands received from the mainline game reviewers was too much boring and bland repetition, open world bloat, etc….and I totally disagree. I think they got it wrong and wrote this game off way too quickly. One of the strengths of Wildlands is its rich variety - its varied environments and terrain, city vs country settings, tactical or loud gameplay choices, and most of all the fact that every play session ends up feeling like a totally custom experience. Anything can happen, and every session there is unexpected sh** that goes down and suddenly you’re improvising and struggling to survive, or getting into a car chase, or dealing with reinforcements, or base jumping off a cliff to get away. I’m still seeing things happen after 500 hours in the game that surprise me - that’s one indicator you’ve got something special. And it absolutely does have a grounded and immersive feel, like you are actually in a rich and lived-in world. The game just consistently delivers, time after time. Of course it doesn’t do everything, but when it comes to varied, fresh, and emergent gameplay that gives you a custom and unexpected experience every time, it simply delivers.

Brilliant assessment of one of the most under rated games ever. However it’s proved how good it really was, we are playing it in 2022. Proves the gaming press talks garbage. I love the fact you can do what you want, how you want. I’ve often drove past a hot zone and thought ‘yeah I’m in the mood to take these out’ and park up and plan my fun. You don’t have to spend ££$$ to get a good load out. It’s designed so well and has real atmosphere. You can tweak it to any level of player you want to be with appropriate difficulty. So newbies and hardcore people can enjoy it equally. I served the country and find myself using the same tactics of attack and defence I used then. Let’s face it, I say again the fact it’s popular in 2022 and is seeing a resurgence in new players speaks volumes. More important it’s just such fun and you can play it how you want. Mad battle. Check. Stealth. Check. A bit of both. Check. Quick side mission as I haven’t a lot of time. Check. I’ve never played it in co-op but I’m hoping it comes to PS Plus, which is rumoured, for my teenage boys to play with me. Not sure if it’ll be cross platform on my Series S but I hope so cause I know they will love it. One of my boys is well into Siege so I know he will love the planning and strategy which makes this game immersive. Great review doing this game the justice it should have got by the gaming press. Shows you can’t rely on them ever. I can simplify the negative reviews. It wasn’t COD. The industry wanted linear missions with beautiful expensive cut scales and dialogue, unrealistic run and gun strategy and the now very boring battle royale, with expensive in game - pay to succeed - purchases which veteran gamers like me are just walking away from. The only audience for battle royale is mainly rich kids now. And let’s not forget. It’s free on Game Pass and the graphics really rock and hold their own in 2022. And finally, the reviewer nailed this. It’s a playground! A mad, fun gun toting playground. New sub dude. Love this channel.

Wildlands is one of the most underrated Ghost Recon games in my opinion. It was a step in the right direction. I wasn't real big into Future Soldier because of all the crazy tech. Wildlands took it back a notch and it delivered a sandbox experience for the first time. It allows for people to play the game however they want. There's so many ways to play Wildlands and that's why it's my favorite Ghost Recon game. I'll put it up there with GRAW and GR2. I have a blast playing with realistic settings and patrolling towns with the AI squad and rebel support. The firefights are a lot more satisfying than the ones in Breakpoint

GR2 is in my top 5 Military Tactical Multiplayer games of all time. So many memories being up late at night on Kazakhstan with my buddies sitting quietly behind a building wall eagle eye staring down my lane across that gap in the middle of the map watching for the slightest bit of movement from the enemy. Omg those days were the greatest era for this genre's multiplayer. Socom 2/Confrontation, Rainbow Six 3/Black Arrow/Lockdown, Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow/Chaos Theory Spies vs Mercenaries mode. Makes me tear up thinking about those days and how we will never see that quality again.

Look, I love Wildlands just as much as anyone. However, you can't say that Wildlands is more immersive than Breakpoint by comparing the environments against each other. The immersion factor is dependent on the believability of the environment. In Wildlands, you're in a dirty, gritty narco-state and the environment reflects this. In Breakpoint, you're on an island owned by a tech company that is under martial law and the environment reflects that. Clean, orderly science labs and manufacturing plants with farms scattered in between and civilians restricted from traveling. This is the expected atmosphere for the setting to have. You can say that your prefer the setting of Wildlands more but Breakpoint is just as immersive in it's own setting.

New casual player here as well, I thoroughly enjoy this game. Sadly I met Breakpoint before, but on the other hand I can at least enjoy the vivid landscape, music and the overall more natural feeling, despite the lack of game mechanics compared. Wish I would have a group of pals with similar interests, but it still rocks for that occasional hour or two to spend in it and have fun! Wish they would follow this line at Ubisoft and glad they ditched Frontline, hope they would build the already developed parts in the new game, which I rumoured to be coming next year. Fingers crossed, until then I can still finish all the DLCs and extra modes in these two well-ageing pieces! Have a good one to all of you, fellow players! :)

100% in agreement on fence cutting. I had to use that as an exit plan most times rather than an entry. Thing I hated about Breakpoint though was that I knew the torch was going to be a useful tool, but I just don't run into cuttable fences enough for me to keep it in my backpack. Too many times I've considered entering from one side of a base by cutting through the fence only to get close enough and realize that it's not a fence that I can actually cut.
@GhostIslandThunder2 жыл бұрын
I'm surprised they even went the whole blowtorch route lol could have been like an animation of Nomad cutting the fence with snips but perhaps that would have taken too long. I use it sparingly. I always have it equipped since I play no HUD jussst incase I ever need it. 👌

I loved the setting of Wildlands from the start. I was pretty frustrated by it at first because I played with friends without minimap and markers and we were too impatient and died a lot. Some content also started to feel repetitive. Only after I started playing alone also with AI teammates and especially in Ghost Mode, I was able to play patiently, stealthily and learned much faster what to do and what not to do. Only then I started loving all the bases and missions and they felt less repetitive when you really need to start paying attention to details. But I do dislike a few things: - AI teammates are like invisible to the enemy until suddenly they are not, it's weird - Dead bodies disappear when you look away but you can't move the bodies and sometimes enemies still find the bodies, it's weird - Drone abilities are pretty OP besides noise maker but I think it's perhaps still a bit too quiet - Suppressors are a bit too silent but there are too many enemies in tight spaces moving around to use only CQC or to just avoid them altogether - BFG always one shotting helos, no matter where you hit it - Game is designed and balanced with assumption that player have markers and all the HUD on. Without enemy markers the enemies can often see and shoot you through a bush but you cannot see them. WIthout mission markers it's often really hard to find the person or object we are supposed to look for or kill / destroy.

One thing I'd like to add about the difference in firefights between Wildlands and breakpoint. So as you say, in Wildlands the enemies practice some level of self preservation and go for cover, which draws out engagements and makes them more dynamic and interesting. Fights always feel different cause they are actually based off of where you are and what cover you are around, because both you and the enemy will be playing behind and around it. In breakpoint the ai is generally dumber. They tend to rush at you, rarely using cover which forces you to react and constantly use close quarters combat and makes every fight more tense. It also shortens the fights exponentially. In breakpoint, open combat feels like a direct punishment to failing stealth. Breakpoint has great stealth mechanics and the game wants you to be using them so open combat isn't its own play style but a bad consequence to failing the only play style. In Wildlands it feels completely different. Loud, open combat play is encouraged just as much as stealth is. Neither diminish the other and both can be equally as fun. Engagements can be so dynamic, starting as a stealth infiltration and ending as wide scale battle between 3 different factions. Why do I say this? Well in breakpoint you have your guns and gadgets. Most gadgets are used for stealth and the ones used for open combat actually kinda end up making the game feel too easy or game-ey. In Wildlands you have a lot of the same things and some things actually being worse than in breakpoint and way too OP. (Looking at you HTI) but you also have the rebel support. Which completely changes the "loud play style" doing rebel ops and getting really good rebel support is so important to fun action movie style chaos gameplay because you can call mortar fire, a diversion, or a small little band of rebels to provide some extra fire for the ghosts. I have my rebel support fully upgraded and I once just created my own battle by getting a high UNIDAD chase and then just calling rebels after them after each cool down. It was just a constant hail of gunfire back and forth and I would call mortar fire down just for the cinematics, it was awesome, and unfortunately something you could never do in breakpoint.
@GhostIslandThunder2 жыл бұрын
The Rebel orders were nice to be able to call in however I'd like to see that taken further and offer us more control of whatever extended faction we are working with. Could be local military forces from whatever country we are having ops in, perhaps UN, or US soldiers to command ontop of our squad for larger scale ops.

I think the emptiness of Breakpoint is because it was kind of empty island with little to none homesteaders. Then Skell came and build some new buildings and residences, mostly for its workers. Wolves acquired/build some bases, but everything is mostly new and fresh on the island, it has not much history like Bolivia does. I feel like it was a good idea to add this DLC with Outcasts in Breakpoint, where they spawn so often in various places and give this little of Wildlands experience where one can have encounters quite often, since where Outcasts are there are Sentinels right away too. Great video, thanks!

Cheers for the coverage on this, only recently been thinking more and more of Wildlands...while playing Breakpoint 🙍😬 Just upgraded my vanilla version to the Ultimate Edition for a ridiculous deal, with little time to spare - I'm enjoying Breakpoint (now that more immersive/difficult options are included)but it is quite a solitary affair, most of the time - and I'm mostly a lone wolf......but I think Wildlands had the opportunity to offer the more detailed environments The overall 'tone' and atmosphere of the world you're exploring had supporting elements like the discussions or banter between your comrades and I seriously miss the stylish, context-giving briefings - all of this painted a clearer picture of WHERE(abouts😬)you were and HOW to 'feel' about all of this - think Robocop if we took out the commercials and news footage. Wildlands feels like a more rounded experience, lacking Breakpoint's innovations but giving greater reward for each moment you put into it with superior depth. Wildlands beckons with it's living/breathing elements of society that further complicate / compliment your approach to any given firefight and I appreciate the layers of digital life going on every second.

I agree with the video! Love hearing the passion for Wildlands. Super underrated game in my opinion. Mainly for the open world, and small details in the game that no one realizes that the developers put in. I just watched a KZbin video on attention to details in Wildlands and it blew me away. I’d say it’s in that same category as AC Origins. The developers for both games took so much time to craft a living, breathing world, with NPCs that have life styles and can move the environment around (boxes, cars, etc.), that most casual players overlook those little details that make a game feel immersive. I’d say breakpoint has a better feeling gameplay system when it comes to how the character moves and acts, but Wildlands blows that game out of the water in every other category. Even still, the gameplay in Wildlands is still damned good compared to Breakpoint. Overall Wildlands is far superior in my opinion. Absolutely admire that game and feel it needs more love and respect to the very minute details the developers took the time to put in. I recommend to anyone who sees this comment to KZbin search “Ghost Recons Wildlands Insane Details” (specifically part 3). I mean, it’s truly insane. Much love to the community and developers!
@MrKyleboywonder Жыл бұрын
Adding to this, I think in a future Ghost Recon game, the way they can master it would be to bring back the Wildlands attention to detail. Along with the same kind of variety in the large open world map, but add elements of Rainbow6Siege. What I mean by that is, basically have the character be controlled with a weight and stamina as in Breakpoint, within the world of something like Wildlands, and have elements of Rainbow6 in the open world, allowing the player to break into certain buildings and grappling up buildings and having more destructible environments. Those key features would make for a perfect Ghost Recon/Military sim game. At least for consoles.

Breakpoint may be felt more "clean" because Auroa is fictional archipelago, and the action itself is in the future (2030-40s), certain things/technologies we encounter there simply don't exist yet. Besides, Skell was investing billions $ in Auroa's infrastructure, so no wonder we have a lot of modern biuldings/sites/factories there

I'd be perfectly happy with a Wildlands 2 being Breakpoint graphics (with improved optimization and cleaned up graphical issues/bugs) and gameplay set in the Wildlands storyline with a big expansive Mexico map. I really loved Ghost Mode in Wildlands, it brought me major Socom 2/Confrontation vibes. There's no reason Breakpoint both modes failed or rather didn't perform well like it should have, GR could easily be the new Socom since apparently PS isn't interested in making that amazing IP anymore.

3rd day into Wildlands and I don't know how I feel about it yet. I just got done with Breakpoint, level 82, advanced, no gear score and no enemy markers. Loved it. Yet Wildlands at normal difficulty I am constantly dying. I can't hit anything. I spent yesterday just trying to get decent weapons in hopes it will help. But it seems like there's something with the aspect ratio. Like I'm shooting at tiny stick figures. UNIDAD seems overly aggressive to the point that once they're called in, tactics go out the window and it turns into grand theft auto police. Either fight and it gets worse and you will die, or just run. But it's only day 3 so I'm sure there's some adjustment period. The bases in Wildlands does seem way better than Breakpoint. Actually unique and interesting. The world is beautiful, even though traversal is a bit rough with all of the mountains. Keeping an open mind on Wildlands and I'm sure I'll adapt. Just need to find the right tactics.

Regarding the fire fights in the streets one of those lead to my first civilian casualty. I was trying to get a drop on them and thought the one guy was an enemy sitting in his car. Perfect head shot than got the awful message that it was a civilian. Oops as they aay. I also agree about the immersion of raiding camps. Several camps I would shoot a couple guys run for cover and hide till they went back to normal patrols. It was such an awesome feeling every time it happened. I barely found this out but when I used the emp it didn’t stop the convoys. So it turns out the emp only works if the vehicle is close to you. So if you emp it you have to get close so it stop. Also if it is too far you can look through a sniper scope and it will stop it. It was funny when the car just stops and then when you zoom out it starts to move again.

BIggest Difference I found while playing both games is that..Wildlands felt more alive ...the NPCs felt alive ,they had a life/routine..as such...Wildland NPCs were just dumb . In Wildlands , the NPCs would eat, sleep, go out, roads had traffic. people would step out of the car if you point gun at them and rebels would actually help you fight. None of it was there in Breakpoint. I know both games have different plotline and setting , but the Breakpoint world could have been a bit more alive. Atleast that's what I felt . I just finished Breakpoint and I jumped back in Wildlands. I love driving around in Bolivia, Hated driving in Auroa.Break point felt more like Far Cry than Ghost recon. You take plants, make potions, sell/buy in shops..etc. Though, Breakpoint has better combat system which if added to Wildlands would make it even better. I just wish Ghost recon with something similar or better than Wildlands and not a dead world like Breakpoint.

Sounds like you just like Wildlands better, I think breakpoint did everything wildlands did but better but it wasn’t until operation motherland where I had that opinion. I like breakpoint better because I feel like I have more freedom to play different ways, and there’s a lot more to do then just collectibles and bases in end game, I know of tier 1 mode and Ghost mode, but it’s not something I would include in my gameplay mix 100% of the time. I really enjoy the tactical and immersive options in breakpoint and the conquest mode really capitalized on the whole game, the launch of it was terrible but it became one of my favorite games and im a heavy socom and ghost recon fan, I don’t think we will ever get games like those again but close, I wish they would go more sandbox too as in breakpoint I ignored most of the story and understand it all, I like the intel and stuff and that you can do whatever and have fun, in wildlands you have to follow the story more otherwise the gameplay to me just isn’t there. In breakpoint it’s a lot simpler but yet complex, you’re on a island and it’s bad guys they shot u down, on wildlands you need that story background to feel fully immersed in what you’re shooting at etc because the enemies actually have some cool lore, not a bad thing, but for that reason I feel like breakpoint is easier to get into especially with immersive options and they literally summarize each operation in the description so it feels like a pick up and play yet you can still do a million times more, it’s the closest to sandbox we’ve gotten. My only issue with the game is maybe better areas (the architecture is a little confusing) And we needed fully customizable teammates, and more options, like disabling their perks like throwing grenades, but other then that it’s flawless and great video, I have over 1000 hours in both

I recently got both Wildlands and Breakpoint, and yea that world of Wildlands is much better. Breakpoint I a bit cringe with its story. BP has better mechanics, but WL world and story is much more compelling. BP is also difficult to learn compared to WL, especially for the Multiplayer. I wish WL got an update to be smoother like BP or at least a PS5 update.

I prefer Wildlands for the setting and the liveliness of the world. Breakpoint is very clean, corporate white everywhere and it's mostly jungles. Breakpoint feels like you're fighting Amazon mercs lol. Add the wacky bullet spongy enemies on top of that and while it makes for some chaotic fun at times, it's not Ghost Recon by any means at that point. I feel very overpowered compared to most enemies on Breakpoint. Wildlands seems to have more of a balance. Firefights can become these long, drawn out affairs between Rebels and Santa Blanca/Unidad, enemies don't just bum rush in straight line. Also, Wildlands has Ghost mode :) which is a challenging, yet satisfying alternative to the normal game.
@NIPPY.4152 жыл бұрын
Playing immersive mode, darkest night, extreme difficulty, with no hud, no crosshair. The game.is so much better than it use to me. No more bullet sponges and way less drones! I love wildlands, but my biggest and the only gripe is the fact the enemies seem to have this hive mentality, where if you are hunted, they know exactly where you are and simply rush you out in the open, even under fire, and have perfect aim, even if you’re 300m out and hidden. Kinda takes the immersiveness away. would be better if they at least act a little confused and hunker down, while trying to figure out your position and firing back using cover more.
@GhostIslandThunder2 жыл бұрын
I actually feel like that about Breakpoint more lol, guys rush at me. Where as in WL, I can actually get into lenghtier gunfights. idk i guess it all depends on the situation. I see what ur saying though especially on tier 1 ... it's so stupid how they one shot you with mac 10's
@simply_exploring2 жыл бұрын
@@GhostIslandThunder thats weird because I felt that in breakpoint they fixed that issue somewhat, not perfect but in my opinion it was better. Like when you are hunted they actually look for you in the wrong area often, basically not knowing your exact position. then again I played breakpoint for 2 weeks and then never played it again so I don’t doubt you.

Wildlands is a great game, great looking and stable (don't need permanent connection with the server, connection which sometimes doesn't work quite well). But a drawback, which i really nearly despise is the store system. For example, the game, Gold Edition, was somewhere near to 60 euros, but with a special offer war the price practically cut in half. Cool, super....But then, you have no possibility to make ghost coins in game, in order to buy stuff. Like a MK18 (i think the HK416 is in the same situation), for example, which cannot be unlocked by completing any kind of mission. Well, this weapon would cost 1800 gold coins, and you have to buy ghost coins with money via store. A package of about 12k gold coins would cost around 30 euros (c'mon, are u real???....are you you really real?), which is the equivalent of about 7 weapons like MK18. So, on short, you pay 30 euros for a game with like 200 weapons and hundreds of all sort of equimpent& stuff, and you have to pay nearly as much for 7 (seven) additional weapons? That's comical...

If GR Wildlands was a live service only game it would have been dead by now cuz Ubisoft would have first; 1. shutdown the servers to force traffic to GR BreakPoint. 2. The devs in Wildlands clearly gave it their all and thats why the game is releventto this date. 3. The moment BreakPoint was made a LSG the intension was set and it was clear Ubi wanted to control how you played, levelled up, and most all they wanted to sell mtxs.
@Go_Coup2 жыл бұрын
tactful: having or showing tact tact: a keen sense of what to do or say in order to maintain good relations with others or avoid offense Are you trying to tell me that Wildlands' enemies are nonoffensive? 10:55 WTF? Why in the world did they add dancing to a "GR" game? I mean, it would be acceptable if civilians are dancing or something, but... Ubisoft does not deserve the "Tom Clancy" appellation. I really hope the SC remake is successful so that Ubi can see their existing Clancy IPs should not be open-world and they can keep the blind enemies in the dark SC (where it makes sense.)

Lol yea, glad someone mentioned how awful they are. During that moment, in our chat we were basically shitting on the fact that emotes are a thing in a GR game... Butttt the emotes did come in handy when I did my Wildlands cinematic.

Wildlands has a better story. Far more plausible and far more depth. Because it was set in the real country of Bolivia, that alone lends some realism. A mimic of the towns, cities and villages of a real country. Breakpoint was wholly fictional. The island, it's position on the planet, the structure of all other aspets of it were pure fiction. The 'towns' were random and barely populated. There was no realism to how the one city and the various towns were developed. The history created for the island makes little sense (SPOILER: they left an active nuclear bomb on the island ... OOPSie!) The 'rebel' faction is not discovered even though it's on a nearby island you can see from the main island. The 'neutral' faction is in a cave that the main antagonist forces never seem to find and never threaten. I could go on for a long time. Breakpoint simply has no coherent depth. UBISOFT would do well to have the combat mechanics and customization of Breakpoint with the wonderful story or Wildlands and you could easily have a block buster.

Unpopular Opinion: We only talk about wildlands so much because the successor was so bad, especially in the beginning. I really like Wildlands back then, and I really like Breakpoint despite all it's flaws (like you Ghost Island Thunder). But I am pretty sure, if Breakpoint would have been the successor we all hope for, not a lot of people would be playing Wildlands anymore. It would be more like just a nostalgic thought to it, but not the need to play it... What do you think? :)
