The urban combat, environment variety, and Unidad mechanic are unmatched! Also while Breakpoint had better customization, Wildlands had more realistic and better looking gear.

It's still a fun game and probably the better open world map than what breakpoint offered. Obviously this game wasn't perfect but ubisoft made it fun at least. Heck I've been thurly enjoying Hell let loose with friends and after playing it so much that it's time that ubisoft makes a actual ghost recon game.

Dunno, man - you look at the default Wildlands gear, the 511 vests and IBA and they’re packed with detail - blood group patches, radios, pouches, cable ties, cyalumes, IR patches; it’s a lot more realistic than the “every plate carrier has 3 ammo pouches and that’s it” look of Breakpoint.

The overall graphics of BP is better, somehow normal, it is newer. A better set of textures, higher resolutions (just look and compare the walls of the buldings, the sand and rocks textures), a better animation and mechanics (by that not saying that Wildlands doesn't look amazing, it does...). The map ...i don't know. This one is closer to what we can see in a real wolrd, it may be more pleasant and warmer. Auroa is futuristic and therefore it may seem colder. What do i like more in Wildlands is the stability, BP has sometimes problems doing the necessity to alway be connected to the server, connection which doesn't always work very good.

I keep going back to the wildlands just to get into a nice shootout! The weapons and bullets impact feel more powerful in wildlands…it’s just more cartoonish & clunky than breakpoint in terms of character movements..but the weapons and the shooting feels better in wildlands 100%🙌🏽

I have nearly finished Breakpoint, and completed the Wildlands story. I will definitely be going back to Wildlands, it was a far better experience and such and underrated game. Hate all the drones and unmanned behemoths.

Definitely agree with you on a lot of points. I have like 52hrs on co-op doing Milsim with some guys, and there are so many things going on in the world to do that. It has better attire customisation than Breakpoint and good world too. PVP is extremely underrated. I don't think the next game will have a better world though. The team at that time seemed so passionate about the game, I'm not sure we will see that again.

Books are the best, for example. Did you see "Flight of the Intruder"? (Good Book) In the book "Clear and Present Danger" Jake Grafton now a Captain (Full Bird and CAG) decided to do some "Testing" so he had pilots simulate some bombing... then on the day of the "Drug House Strike" Jake Grafton had his plane loaded with a cellulose bomb that he personally dropped. Little things like that are cool Or the fact that Rainbow 6 started after that mission with the characters John Clark, Capt. Ramírez and Chavez "Ding". There were 5 other originals. 3 men and 2 ladies. It then expanded to about 20 and in the last book I read I believe there were a total of maybe 35+ personnel. Its funny that the team is stationed in Hereford England, and Jack Ryan was the President that authorized their existence and financial backing, having met John Clark personally.

Wildlands is still my favorite also. Right now I’m playing the game for a second time on PC, first time was on PS4. The PC version has audio from Nomad, DJ Perico, and others that wasn’t in the console version, so that’s been fun. Also came across an April 2022 article that seemed to confirm a new GR game in development that isn’t frontline. Ubisoft code named it “OVER”. Probably a year or two away from release. If y’all want to see something specific in the next GR, now’s the time to message them your suggestions.

World-wise, i prefer Wildlands. That and Wildland's male Nomad sounds better imo. But gameplay-wise, i feel Breakpoint is better now provided you turn off all the gear score nonsense. I personally have mine setup to Advanced with the injury option to "Always", limited bandages and only bandages can heal injuries. Why advanced and not extreme? Well, extreme makes the AI too "Terminator-ey" and just unrealistic in reaction and aim. Advanced seems to be the middle ground. They have an almost human like awareness and aim. They can see me from the same distance a human should, and so far in my playthrough their awareness seems to be believable. Plus, with the injury option set to always, even advanced difficulty can still be a challenge as you simply cannot afford to take a hit. With that said, it's a shame they're not supporting both games anymore. Especially Wildlands. I'd love to see Breakpoint's gameplay features on WIldlands. Would fit there much better imo

Hell yeah bro! Tactical realism, story, immersion, no HUD, team team team. Thank you for this video. I still play wildlands as you question it in the end of the video because I am still looking for players to play it co-op in my realism based simulation campaign, unfortuantely few players are the ones I found in these 3 years that can join you, so I am still there.. around 29 % of the campaign, still about to terminate the first Branch... as we operate in a realistical manner, as these crime organizations would actually be taken down. Hard to find players that speak english that are mature, with tactical and strategy but also story passion and with also understanding of gear (basic taste, no fantasy) accepting no HUD or anyway realism simulation, HUD on only in specific very limited contextual cases... It's hard to find these players. And regarding what you say too in the mid of the video: well I am one of those that can't really play alone\AI.. it would ruin the game immersion and quality of the experience for me. SO I am here sitting and waiting someone can become my friend and team mate here or elsewhere possibly ready to join into a non sci fi no overpowered experience... now also bridging to a small edited GRB campaign (as I created a way to bridge them into one) - Of course GRB will be cut very short. I will publish also a guide on Steam... Of course both games need to be modded. No HUD Team - Voron

Dude to this day I play almost daily Wildlands. I play Wildlands War and it’s frustrating but it’s basically playing maps from the campaign against other live players. The only down side is when there are laggers What would make Wildlands better is if we could have 5v5, 6v6, 8v8 aside from just 4v4 Also if they did what they did on day one which was you had to have a minimum connection speed or it would kick you out of the game. This would eliminate cheaters that lag on purpose.

I loved Wildlands, put about 500 hours into it and i'm shortly before getting my platinum trophy. Still, i cannot get the trophy The Whole Story and Legendary Hunter despite i collected each and every document (Kingslayer files also!), its just bugged, many people have trouble with it and Ubisoft doesn't care. Ghost recon is amazing. But no hud and enemy marks. X ray vision or something similar for know where are the enemy. For me is the most realistic possible.This is what call immersive!!! Been playing breakpoint since release off and on but just fired back up wild lands and have to say aside from movement and maybe a little bit of the graphics I am enjoying wild lands more. The living world makes a huge difference. Playing with no hud and having to check targets in urban areas is a different level and the people and characters are just far more believable. Missed this game more then I realized

MW2019 spoiled me with the gun smith, customization and sound design. But every now and then I still return to Wildlands because of the Bolivian setting. It sure could use more world effects and NPC design to be more lifelike and less repetitive, but the immersion is definitely there and much more believable than Breakpoint's futuristic drone arcade setting.

I still stand and say the best part of this game was when I was walking through some random town with my team after they had been liberated from outside of not even being there and some guy went into his house grabbed the bottle water off of this table walked outside and offered to me and bowed his head that was the coolest thing that I've ever seen in the Ubisoft game ever. To me the clothes in Wildlands always looked like they didn't fit. The operators look like teenagers trying to wear daddy's gear. Everything looks like two sizes too large and being dragged down by its own weight. Breakpoint still had issues in this regard though it was easier making operators look bulkier by choosing the right gear, and the backpacks are on the back and not on the lower back. The Unidad mechanic always was nightmare to me because Unidad can infinitely self-replicate and instantaneously teleport itself onto every scene. Undidad is the most powerful military force in the world. No other military has infinite resources and a response time of exactly zero. The worst thing about Wildlands to me is the ballistics of a suppressed bullet. It's travelling so slow it looks like someone's hurling a pebble. All that being said I still think Wildlands is the better game and I would replay it more often if it had a newgame+. With Operation Motherland I can always start again without loosing EVERYTHING. The one thing which caused me to stop replaying Wildlands was having to look for resources again in order to spend skill points. Levelling up is good to get to know the mechanics of the game on the first playthrough but today it's still the thing which spoils every game for me on a consecutive playthrough.

Games need to have more longevity. It sucks how some games just fall to the wayside after only a year of two. Wildlands adding Ghost Mode made the game playable for a much longer duration. Hopefully the new one can mix the best of all the former GR games into one.

The mod really changed how I played the game I slowed down stopped sprinting and soaked it in and man whatta experience. 7:29 Maybe but a large part of what was available for free in Wildlands for customization must now be payed for with ghost coins in breakpoint. You can't have a good balaclava that covers your character's neck in breakpoint without paying.

In my humble opinion, the only thing that Breakpoint did right was the cosmetic and weapons costumization. If Ubisoft added that in Wildlands and the order menu from SOCOM series, than fellow operators of culture, we definitely would have the supreme tactical shooter. The immersion of fictional Bolivia, people passing by, kids playing in every town, the traffic, it really makes you feel like you are inside the game. The fight against a drug cartel, a harsh reality, not fighting mega tanks and drones, those Sicarios vibes....all of this fellow operators of culture, is priceless.

You don't have the super hardcore Team control like in the first Ghost Recon since Ghost Recon 2 (Summit Strike) Since GR2 (Summit Strike) you always have the basic Team control Go there! Hold! Fire! Therefor it is a true Ghost Recon.

Gr1 was truely the best GR game for tactics. I do miss it still. I missed it in GR2 and I missed in all of them rhat followed! You do have a point though, because with my logic, every GR isn't a "True" GR after GR1. You have a point. I guess with each game they definitely did try out new things with each game. So yea all GR games are still true GR games. Sad that they dumbified the game in terms of team controls. I want that level of control back with the fluiditiy of the games that came after GR1. @@GhostIslandThunder just watched gameplay from the first again and I have so say it kinda feels better in a way ne "new way" since you don't need to open the map every second to command where your teammates are supposed to go. You can do this faster with the drone and your 3rd Person view if you play with AIs. But that's how I feel about it 😊 Great video though 😊

@@Black0raz0r yea I have always loved the on the fly team commands from GR2 through to graw 2 , i would like for the tac map control to return, to have best of it all. On the fly controls + gr 1 tac map team controls. Some of us like to pull the map out and use it for stuff too so having all these optional features just makes for a better customized experience per each players preferred playstyle. tbh I never played Wildlands but seems fun tbh I'll try and play it and see if it is better than breakpoint because the only ghost recon game I played was breakpoint.

I strongly disagree about Wildlands being the best, but I hope you can convince people of how necessary it is for GR to have precise control of bots. Sadly, GR01 will always be the best "Ghost Recon" game unless Ubi drastically changes (and that includes GR01's cooperative play with far more than 4 players.)

I try, I really do try ahaha yea. Yea, a 4 man team is not enough. It really isn't... but that's not to say it doesn't work though. I really don't get why they don't bring those elements back it's not like all the solo players with be forced to play with all the squad and team controls if they don't want to play the game that way, thats why having those OG features back into the series would sell more games and please both halves of the split fanbase. Having the ability to open the door back up for the original playstyles of core OG GR mixed with the tactical freesom of modern GR would make the ultimate GR game

Yea although servers are a bit messed atm. This video is all co-op (4 man co-op on Xbox live)
