hmmm sadly might not be accurate, humans cant maintain spirit form because we are too used to having bodies, so "ghost" tend to move on faster, but there are other creatures that are not human that exist, they are more common to see if you do see one, this is why most possessed people cant behave like normal human anymore because the thing that attached to the said person does not know how to pretend human, but nonetheless there are human ghost around, just they are not common. the creatures i talk about they can show themselves to us as humans this could be the reason why many perceive them as human ghost, because a human who can see their real form will have power over them, only few people has that birth right.
@SLSpencer Жыл бұрын
He is articulate and tells his story well. But i knew as soon as I heard him that some small minded person would complain about it. His accent sounds mixed. Those with mixed accent usually having gained the foreign accent when studying and working abroad and esp in this context I presume it is the first time they have met so being interviewed brings out the formal side and this also usually brings out the accent more. When he was more relaxed his accent was more local. I wish the viewers would stop being so picky and focus on the stories instead. Or maybe they can step forward and be interviewed instead. That would be a blockbuster Im sure. 😂😊

He probably lived abroad for a while. It is not easy for people abroad to understand our sg accent. I lived overseas for a few years only but I had to tone down my accent in professional setting. When I came home, I would use that practiced toned down accent in professional settings and then switch to the very Singaporean accent during casual ones. Maybe this guy thought this interview was formal enough like a professional setting for him to use his toned down accent.
@dd-dd2co Жыл бұрын
@@pinkublacku I call bull on that. I've studied overseas for years too and so did some of my friends. However, we don't speak with the accent we picked up now that we are back. Besides, you can clearly tell his is very forced when he unwittingly lost his accent towards the end.

Our accent tells a story of who we are and where we have lived. As a Singaporean who has lived abroad for some years, I can understand why he sound like that. He's probably worked or studied overseas for a few years. It is not easy for poeple to understand the Singapore accent abroad, he probably had to assimilate and tone it down in the professional setting abroad. After doing that for a while, you may just get into that toned down accent.
@sidewalkslam Жыл бұрын
@@pinkublacku agreed with you. have had colleagues who spoke this way because they studied overseas for 4 - 6 years. they'd occasionally lapsed into Singlish sounding English and their British accented English eventually wore off after 2 years with us. They were the most unpretentious people around, it's just the way it is. Don't get people who judge others over something like this, I'm guessing they have very little life experiences.
@pinkublacku Жыл бұрын
@@sidewalkslam agreed about the humble part. In fact before I left sg, I was extremely narrow minded. After some years of being treated like an alien, an outsider in another country and having to explain where Singapore is, and what Singapore is about, I am deeply humbled. I was also always happy to hear singlish overseas. To be honest this guy would sound Singaporean if I was overseas. But of course back home, he sounds less Singaporean.
